Teachers help prepare our kids for the 'real world'. Yet how many teachers have been out in that world? Most have spent their entire lives in schools. Perhaps it should be a requirement that every teacher work out 'in the real world' for a minimum of 4 years before they are allowed a teaching certificate. Not only would it go a long way toward better preparing our kids for real life, it'd also help foster better communication ...more »
