ACRON is currently under wide investigation by local and federal authorities. Funnelling taxpayer money to an agency with obvious deficencies should be immediately halted until a proper investigation is completed.

Tim Geitner said Chinese assets in the US are very safe, and got a derisive laugh from STUDENTS!!! STUDENTS! Even the young and untrained can see through this farce! Our economy is being taken over by the government and crashed through over spending. STUDENTS realize it is a farce! You think the rest of the country hasn’t figured this out, too? The Federal Reserve is supposed to PROTECT the Economy and STABILIZE ...more »
Air Force One was flown for a photo op which cost thousands of dollars, the President uses Air Force One to go from state to state to campaign or for photo opportunities that need to stop or having his favorite pizza maker from Chicago flown into Washington to deliver a pizza, or using jet stream airplanes to go to conventions to speak, etc...(like Al Gore). This administration is getting "too big for their britches." The founding fathers created our government to have very little impact on the people and to remain small and out of the private sector. Over time it has become more expanded and is invading our private lives more and more. The ONLY sector that is prospering job-wise is the government. Our president is making more and more departments and then is hiring "czars" ...more »

Waxman and Markey are trying to push cap and trade on our society so that our companies ...more »
Federal Departments' strategic goals and performance measures are often too difficult to interpret. We should fix this. Citizens who wish to provide guidance to their elected officials about spending priorities struggle to understand the basic objectives of programs and their actual progress. The tendency for performance measures to be vague, and goals perpetually met, is easily understood in the context of the federal ...more »

First, my background, I spend 22.5 years in the active duty Air Force, serving my country. Why is it that the federal govt has to spend every penny that it's given? In the AF I saw the same thing every year. At the beginning of the fiscal year we were given our budget. At the 10th or 11th month of that same fiscal year, we were told to spend all the money we had left over, we HAD to spend it. New chairs, desk, computers, ...more »
There are nearly 300 million Americans and almost half pay little or no income taxes at the Federal level. Go to a hybrid graduated flat tax. Eliminate employee payroll taxes, capital gains taxes and the like and just use the ...more »
The Government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credits needed to satisfy the spending power of the Government and the buying power of consumers. By the adoption of these principles, the taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest. Money will cease to be master and become the servant of humanity. -Abraham Lincoln If congress has the right under the Constitution to issue paper money, ...more »
