Require All Presential Canidates to Prove they Meet the Consitutional Requirements to be President

All Presidential Candidates (Republican and Democrat) should have to prove that they meet the requirements to serve as president before they can be put on the ballot in the primary and/or during any election. This would solve any potential problems in the future coming up which claim's someone may not be eligible to serve as president and/or the office him/her may be seeking.

ACORN should not be given any taxpayer money or be involved in our census

ACORN is under investigation and several people who have worked for it have done criminal things, why would any person think that an organization where it's own executives stole money and employees commit crimes should be given any taxpayer money or the power to corrupt our census (which costs taxpayers money to do!) This is poor goverment waste at it's best and possible criminal intent on the part of the goverment to... more »

Make It Safe for Govt. Workers to Innovate to Save Money

Federal departments can only become more Transparent, Participatory, and Collaborative with outsiders (citizens) unless those same things are adopted INTERNALLY. Those qualities can only show up on the *outside* if they are valued on the *inside*.

However, federal departments do NOT have the internal openness that makes it *safe* for their employees (and those of contractors) to suggest ways to make their organizations... more »

Code of ethics for secrecy classification

A public code of ethics with regard to classifying government data or actions as secret should be developed. Acceptable instances of such classification should be defined as specifically as possible (e.g., "to preserve national security" is too general). Then review of the classification of specific data as secret by other government classifiers should always be done in order to ensure that the ethics code is upheld.... more »

Mr Obama must prove he is eligible to be President.

As a citizen I must know my President is legitimate. Millions of people believe that Mr Obama has usurped the Presidency by taking the oath of office without being eligible to be President. These people believe that Mr Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen as required by Article II of the Constitution.

Mr. Obama claims to have provided a summary copy of his Certificate of Live Birth by posting it on the internet. This... more »

Time to update the Freedom of Information Act

The government's own statistics and various studies from the National Security Archive and others have shown the massive delays in processing FOIA requests. Drafting and application of FOIA exemption claims and classification policy has been demonstrated to depend too heavily on the attitude of the particular administration towards openness. Governments frequently confuse what they perceive to be the interest of the... more »

Obama MUST step down he is NOT-eligible as per his own admission! NO Birth Certificate Required! NOT eligible even IF born in Ha

Article II of the U.S. Constitution clearly states for only the Office of President of the United States (POTUS) the requirement of "Natural Born Citizen"

Under the British Nationality Act 1948(BNA 1948), Obama’s father was a British citizen/subject when he was born in the English colony of Kenya. Obama’s father continued to be such and not a U.S. citizen when Obama was born in 1961. Under the same BNA 1948, at... more »

Obama's birth certificate

I was wondering if, for those who are attempting to support President Obama, could he possibly present his birth certificate? I know it has been put up on the website, but there is so much debate about its validity. I am asking as a faithful, loyal American, could we please be shown the long-form birth certificate, so as to end any questioning about it, and remove the possibility that any of those who question Obama's... more »

Apply Meaningful Rules for Public Comment Across All Platforms

Public participation is the cornerstone of American democracy. When citizens take the time to participate in government, their views should be valued. A process for public comment should be open to all, easily accessible, established without favoritism, and ensure the systematic collection of the public’s views.

There are many laws that help ensure *meaningful* public participation in the decisions of government. These... more »

Prohibit agencies from canceling FOIA requests

Agencies regularly send out letters to requesters saying, "Your request has been pending for so long that we wonder if you still want us to answer it. If you don't reply, we will pretend you never filed this FOIA request." This lets them sneakily evade requests.

It's fine for agencies to ask requesters if they'd like to voluntarily cancel their FOIA requests. What isn't fine is for agencies to cancel the requests... more »

Paper Ballot Requirement in all Fifty States

3. Paper Ballot Requirement: The use of paperless voting machines will henceforth be disallowed for presidential and congressional elections in all states. Paper ballot provides a concrete record of voter will and intent. The use of voting machines should never be allowed in any state; there will always be a will to defraud and whenever there is a will there is a way.
• Provisional ballots should count as a vote.... more »
