The American people have had enough abuse from the Credit Report Agencies (EXPERIAN. EQUIFAX & TRANSUNION). For to long have they been destroying many Americans lives by benefiting the banks, lenders and collection agencies. The canadian government is working on a project to help their largest customer, the good old USA. The idea is to offer american retailers and manufacturers the possibility to buy canadian made products and get 6 months to pay their bills. If you you dont use a credit card, you should have a lower credit score. It should get higher.
This should have happened when the government took over WAMU but there will be more opportunities with other big banks that are still floundering out there. When the next big bank fails turn it into a true National Bank(providing the new bank with accessible branches). Part of the stimulus money would be used to make it solvent.
