Justify Pelosi Gagging the U.S.

Nancy Pelosi continues the gagging of Americans by preventing adequate debate over federal funds going to ACORN. ACORN has been under investigation for many illegal activities, and should NOT have access to ANY TAXPAYER'S money! Why can't there be a debate? Because they donate tons of cash to her and BHO. The democrat machine won't allow anything to happen to their illegal cash laundry, and abuse their power in congress ...more »

Fort Monroe

Tagged for closure by the 2005 BRAC process the beautiful and historic Fort Monroe in Hampton Virginia will undergo at tragic transformation unless President Obama intervenes.

My suggestion is to keep Fort Monroe under the umbrella of the U.S. Army but 'reinvent' it as a convalescent/recovery facility or perhaps an 'Old Soldiers Home' with close ties and synergisms with the very close by Hampton Veterans Hospital.

Revisit the Triple Revolution Memorandum sent to President Johnson

In 1964, a memorandum was sent to President Johnson that has not received much action yet. Here is a link to it: http://www.educationanddemocracy.org/FSCfiles/C_CC2a_TripleRevolution.htm And a related Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Triple_Revolution While some of the specific suggestions may be out of date, the core ideas remain current, that that progress in human rights and technology and weaponry ...more »

Make Social Security optional.

Take care of current recipients and those who depend on it, allow anyone who wants to to opt out and keep their money in lieu of receiving benefits in the future. Let's see how popular SS really is. Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid will bankrupt us if we do nothing. As it is, Social Security hinders people from saving and investing their own money and it severs the ties between generations. It used to be that children ...more »

Would you stand with the republicans on this?

Then call your representatives and congress and tell them to STOP THE SPENDING and do a real insurance and pharm reform. NEW YORK TIMES & WASHINGTON POST COLUMNISTS PREDICT THAT THE DEMOCRATS’ TRILLION-DOLLAR HEALTH CARE PLAN WILL PILE MORE DEBT ON FUTURE GENERATIONS Despite the Administration’s pledge that its government takeover of health care will be “deficit neutral” – meaning Democrats will either raise taxes ...more »

Walk a mile in their shoes

You know the people here in the United States rally have no idea how the rest of the world lives, and copes with their own governments. I am a veteran of a foreign war, and have seen what those people live like. We here in the United States have no idea what they go through on a daily basis. They struggle to stay alive, they don't have rights like we do. Let them say something against the government, or it's leader, and ...more »

Stop Domestic War Profiteering; Ban Guns Now!

Anyone out there who thinks guns are needed under the pretense of forming a "militia," in case we ever want to revolt against the most powerful military in the world, is ignorant and naive at best. There is no militia any one can form to over throw the US military. If other first world countries can not over power our military, a few red-neck militia groups shouting 2nd amendment rights wont be able to do it either. Sorry. ...more »

ANOTHER SELL OUT OF US SMALL BUSINESS AND INDIVIDUAL INVENTORS

THE APPOINTMENT OF KAPPOS OF IBM TO HEAD THE USPTO WILL DESTROY THE BACKBONE OF THE US ECONOMY. Stop Subsidizing Corn Farmers!!!

For years the US gov. has paid farmers to over-farm corn. Currently corn is sold cheaper than what it costs to produce it!!! This is insane. This has several unintended consequences. We're producing way too much corn. So, we make corn sweeteners. High-fructose corn sweeteners are everywhere. They've completely replaced sugar in sodas and soft drinks. They make sweet things cheaper. We also give it to animals. Corn ...more »

Real numbers to consider

from newsbuster.org-- BMI’s Julia Seymour Exposes the Media’s Lies to Fox Business By Catherine Maggio (Bio | Archive) June 19, 2009 - 14:59 ET How many uninsured Americans are there really? It’s a number that the mainstream media have repeatedly misrepresented to make the health care “crisis” seem worse than it is. Business & Media Institute’s Julia A. Seymour hammered this point in an apprearance on Fox ...more »

They are at it again

The good ole dumocrats are at it again. Let's rush all of these bills through without properly reading them and understanding the cost to taxpayers. They are pushing the health care, cap and tax, protection for sex offenders and now immigration. I believe we need 5 years where the president and congress cannot pass a single new law or bill without American CITIZENS voting on it. We have enough laws and they are spending ...more »
