Making Government Operations More Open

Record everything every politician does

Require every Representative Senator, Executive Department Secretary to wear an audio-recording device which records every conversation they have except when they are in the privacy of their homes and have no guests present. Also require this of all senior House, Senate, and White House staffers.

 

Then make all of those recordings publicly available on a single website.

Make government officials reveal all conflicts of interest with legislation

From the Congress to the President, when a bill comes before them make them reveal all potential conflicts of interest. When it's proposed, they must reveal their ties to the industries, the lobbyists, etc;... as well as the connections their family members have. This would help to root out corruption by exposing potential personal gain and holding officials accountable for not revealing their potential conflicts of interest.... more »

Making Government Operations More Open

Congressional Oversight Agency

We need an agency that has a group of individuals that aspire to no public office, That has the authority to investigate every member in Congress for corruption and the constitutional authority to remove them from office and turn them over to the judicial for prosecution.
I don't know how we could gather these unbiased citizens against corruption for the agency. We would need term limits for them. I do know that congress... more »
