OpenGov - Open Government Brainstorm Ideas

This place really needs moderators to deal with the spam.

Create ONE entry and tell all your buddies to vote that ONE up. It will make a better statement than you frequent, redundant posting.

There is quite a lot of typical "Obama-liar-racist-nazi"- nonesense out there, which makes it very difficult and pretty annoying for people who have real ideas and know how to discuss the civilised way.
Please, please add something like a team of moderators, who delete nonsens and obvious insults.

I'm beginning to suspect that certain people have multiple e-mail addresses and are using them to spam here. I have no ideas on how to counter this, short of doing the same. So this should be a place for ideas on how to counteract this practice.

This email is so large that it blocks my email client and I want it to stop!

As far as I can tell, it is also in violation of CANSPAM which states:

"It requires that your email give recipients an opt-out method. You must provide a return email address or another Internet-based response mechanism that allows a recipient to ask you not to send future email messages to that email address, and you must honor the requests.... more »
