No other president has been asked this.

The only purpose in "saving" GM & Chrysler is to ease workers into other jobs and professions. The internal combustion auto industry not only doomed, it is dragging down the economy. With 80+ billion dollars we can re-train and find useful work for all auto industry employees.

Oh, please! Spare us this hackneyed conspiracy theory. We have enough to do dealing with real problems.

Your "spin" is my "truth" is his "evasion" and her "straw man." Making rules to restrict any type of speech, restricts speech!

Oh Gawd! Another Ayn Rand groupie. Ever notice how she (Ayn) uses exactly the same syntax as Mickey Spillane? I like his solution to the world's problems better: put a slug in the bad guys, where it hurts.

No, the reason for our Constitutional Republic is to avoid tyranny by majority. The Constitution lays out the guidelines withing which debate and public initiative may proceed. That works for me.

Another straw man from the business community. Are there egregiously large payouts? Yes. Are there travesties of justice where the victim is punished? Yes. But you'll notice that the large amounts get whittled down, and the repeated injustices get over-ruled.

Yeah, what I said.

Also, Boehner delenda est.

Nobody needs insurance. Only the insurance companies need insurance.

What the people need is health care -- without a bureaucracy between the people and the care.

I'm solidly for the legal use and taxation of all drugs by anyone over 18. YET I VOTED AGAINST THIS IDEA. Why? Because there is no legal mechanism for a Federal initiative, which is what this is. It will have to be done one state at a time. Each state selling only to residents of at least six months.

The entire war on drugs was lost long ago. Now its simply another war on the poor and the non-white.
