Ok...let's think about the practicality of this idea.

1. How can you federally tax a weed?
2. Who pays for the infrastructure required to implement this new tax and to monitor/prosecute those that violate it?

Shockingly, this makes alot of sense. It allows emotions to cool before costly descisions are made.

I think the easiest way to fix health care is to open the buisness on an international level. If an international insurer can find cheaper treatment in Germany or Egypt (including the cost of air fare and lost wages) then let capitalism lower the price, not the government.
