I like the tone of pap's post, though I think things are farther gone than he realizes. Still, I would rather we radicals sounded sane, reasonable, realistic, and smart, knowledgeable, understanding, than wild and full of demands. Then we might get more support. To have any effect on things we will need masses of people (or money) behind us, and for that we need to sound trustworthy, not wild and scary. The American people are scared, confused, and angry enough these days... to my mind only Jesus can solve this one Blessings forever to all
Your goals are admirable. But sending something like that writing above by Robert David Steele to the government, even though I basically agree with a lot of it, goes wildly too far. You have to start where we are, I think. If you maybe would stick to two of your points - lobbying for prosecuting Cheney and Bush and amending the War Powers Act to put time limits on wars, then in a letter to the government you might get some real attention. (Probably not, of course.) This stuff goes so ridiculously far you could be easily dismissed as nuts raving. I think you should try to be intellengent and reasonable people in public, not wild immature revolutionaries (in dreamworld) with demeands, because there is a lot of potential support for you, a lot of people don't trust the government any more. I too think Obama's with the Bilderbergers...
blessings forever
