The raw idea:
It would be great if a similar Open Government Dialog website would be set up in order to give fresh "feed" and feedback by the people to all the government and White House officials who are working out the details of the Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

I think it would work out the best way if the web page of that Open Dialog would have as many main and subcategories as many necessary by focusing on the primary goal of converting the current cumbersome and many times unfair immigration law into such that will give a clear path to as many diversity of immigrants as possible without getting lost in the legal mambo-jumbo first.

I suggest categories similar to these:

Nurses
H1B,
Marriage,
Family Member
Undocumented
Documented but stayed over
Ordered to be deported but remained in the country
Deported but returned
Broke any civil laws
Broke any criminal laws
Asylum
Permanent Resident
Citizenship
Paying taxes
Not paying taxes
Penalty
Etc.

Why Is This Idea Important?
The issue of the Comprehensive Immigration Reform is around the corner and I am sure of that bunch of new ideas will surface in this matter, that will assist the US government to fine tune or modify existing plans and ideas.
The idea: If the text "www.whitehouse.gov" would be visible on the podium in front of the microphones on all occasions when the President speaks, more and more of those folks would visit the powerful website of the white house whom would have never thought of doing so before.

Every time President Obama speaks, millions of people watch him (not always the same millions).

The TV is the best advertising venue, why not "utilize" it any time the President speaks from the White House? (Or even from the library of Congress if it's OK by any means).

Why is this idea important?

Because, the website of the White House can be and is so powerful in communicating with the American people (First time in History!!!).

I think, it would be even better if President Obama would take the opportunity once and mention the website of the White House in one of his speeches, talk about the different ways the American people can communicate with the White House and actively participate in building the future.

This is a Pro Single Payer Healthcare comment

- President Obama keeps saying this on town hall meetings:

"If you like the health plan that you are currently provided by your employer, you keep it, if you don't, then you would switch to one that's provided by the government."

What is wrong with this picture?

One of the major driving forces behind the healthcare reform are the employers:

The employers and companies are heavily in a disadvantages market position because they are unable to compete on the world market because the healthcare cost drives up the final price of their product.

Employers, companies want to (and should) reduce the cost of healthcare for their employees ideally to zero as a result of the healthcare reform otherwise the whole thing won't make any sense.

Referring back to President Obama's statement my question is this:

What healthcare insurance should or could the employees be "happy with" in order to decide not to switch to the government provided health insurance? The ones that their own employers are unhappy with?

Per President Obama employers would keep the health insurance services for their employees from the private sector which cost more than the one provided by the US government.

So, why would any employer would keep the health insurance from the private sector if the they can get better deal from the government? Are they against their own pocket?

If anyone will think the whole idea of this hybrid private/government health insurance system through can see that something is wrong with it.

In my humble opinion if the government will get involved in health insurance business, the only logical result can be the single payer health care system provided for the whole country by the government.

This idea should have not been posted under the category "Making Government Operations More Open", because it has nothing to do with the government.

On the other hand Verizon Wireless already has web based backup tool where you can backup your phone list and also edit your phone list and download it in your cellphone. Most wireless providers should have similar service for this purpose.

Most of them are great ideas, I would have posted all of these ideas separately because some might not vote yes if one or two ideas that they are disagree with.
