  Find intelligent citizen outsiders - and hire them! Don't rely so single-mindedly on bestowed degrees and recommendations from the "Educational/Institutional Echo Chamber" - the current system of colleges, universities and big businesses which serve to reinforce entrenched ideas.

  Hiring policies placing a premium on top Ivy League schools like Harvard and Princeton is practically incestuous and pretty much guarantees no change.

  Retool some the Military Industrial Complex to Produce Health Care Equipment

  Really, do we need to outspend the cumulative rest of the world on military expenditures for the sake of our economy?

  Why not create incentives to encourage more production of intricate and expensive health care equipment and less weaponry? Do that and "voila", health care costs move downward, the world becomes safer and no jobs are lost!

  Federal Advisory Committees should be regulated in such a manner that vested interests are restricted to a minority voice. FACs should be composed ...more »

  Federal Advisory Committees should be regulated in such a manner that vested interests are restricted to a minority voice. FACs should be composed of educated citizens that are not in conflict of interest and in no position to make scads of money should their advice be taken.

  Currently these groups are stacked overwhelmingly (if not exclusively) with those whose interests run counter to the public good - and toward their personal financial benefit.

  For example how are we to trust a group advising for the addition of a particular vaccine to the required schedule if the individual group members stand to personally gain tens of millions of dollars, should their advice be heeded?

  Government only communicates truth by its actions. Spokespeople can say whatever they want or are told to, but governmental activities demonstrate the real direction our leaders take. The official "spin" on the intent or meaning of any action is meaningless, ignore that and look at the results in terms of money flow, corporate benefits, citizen death counts (here or abroad) and the progress toward an (or more likely, retreat from any semblance of an) earthbound utopia.

  Make No New Legislation Without Also Repealing Two Existing Pieces of Legislation

  Require new legislative packages to contain legislation repealing twice as much as the new package aims to put on the books.
