Since our Auto industry is being revamped, and they were the last holdout for wholesale transition to the metric system, why not take this time to convert the USA to the metrics?
It's an easier system to learn in school, and most other countries are on metrics, as well as over half of the USA manufacturing already. Most liquids are now metric, and a $1.00 per liter does not sound as bad as $4.00 per gallon.
