Interesting. I didn't say you were stopping progress, I said you stand in the way of it -- you can stand in the way of a semi on the freeway, but it doesn't mean you're going to stop it. Also interesting is that you appear to come from a state that has a natural-born Canadian for governer. Nice. I personally don't have a problem with her, but the phrase "People in glass houses..." comes to mind.

Besides the fact that his birth has been proven and verified multiple times (http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/birthcertificate.asp - don't tell me about Snopes' "liberal bias" either, get real), why does it matter? The original intent of the "natural-born" law was to prevent a British person from gaining control of the country again. It is an outdated and ultimately useless requirement.

Oh, and calling the President's agenda "Socialist" or "Marxist" is absolutely a mis-label pasted on by sensationalists like Rush Limbaugh. You may as well claim all of Europe is run by Communists.

I never stated nor implied that it shouldn't be asked, but it has been asked an unreasonable number of times on this forum which is abuse.

You, my friend, stand in the way of progress, while you seem to believe the opposite.

Yes, that's exactly what I said.

If this is posted 200 times and each one has 200 votes, that very strongly implies that the same 200 people are responsible, NOT that 40,000 people voted for it.

It's very simple.

I like this idea, I hope it can also be expanded and useful at state and local levels someday.

If thousands support it, then there should be one topic with a thousand votes. Instead, I see dozens of reposts with no more than a couple hundred votes for any given one. This amounts to a few people voting in favor of all of them, NOT thousands of people splitting their votes between them. Zauberer44's comments suggest that my understanding is correct.

You and the others doing the same thing you're doing will eventually cause this forum to either be rendered useless due to the extreme amount of trolling, or it will have to be locked down and posts will have to undergo a review process before making the list.

You completely ignore that his mother is and was an american, which makes him natural born. Heritage in America is not strictly paternal.

You are confusing "number of times posted" with "number of votes". They are duplicates and absolutely should be removed to preserve the intent of this forum.
