Without such documentation you are a fraud and entered the presidency under illegal and unconstitutional terms. How simple do we need to make it? Do you really think this is so funny, Robert Gibbs????

I will agree with you John partially. The lobbyists should all be shot. You make good points about the healthcare industry. But nationalizing it is not the way to go. We pay like triple for pharmaceuticals compared to foreign companies. Why? Because the pharm lobby coerced the government (read: bought) the right to give us the shaft. Then made it illegal to go to Canada to end run the screwing we are getting. The insurance industry has the hospitals and worse, the doctors by the balls. The lawyers have a grip as well, with their liability lawsuits. Doctors cannot afford liability insurance. These are the places that need corrected. Nationalizing the system is ridiculous. Start by capping liability lawsuits. It works in Europe. Next, what coultry in its right mind charges its own citizens triple for products made in their own country, compared to its foreign sales? Do the Saudis charge $8 a gallon to their citizens for gasoline? NOT! What a scam. The Americans are getting a continuous screwing. And the current left in charge is ready to pick up the pieces and "save us" by giving us all a screwing the rest of the way in another direction. Till they are done "capping energy", taxing the air we breathe, nationalizing the healthcare into unavailable oblivion, deciding who lives and who dies, what kind of country will we be left soon? We will be better off in any other central European country than here, at least they have already learned from these historical mistakes we seem so eager to ignore.

So it is easy, fix those three things, while ignoring the lobbyists who have most of the real power in this country, and there you have it. It ain't gonna happen. Not till we see the same thing on our streets as you see in Iran today.

John, your post is so wrong on so many fronts. That left position will just get this country more behind than it already is. Do your homework. The reason we bailed out Freddie and Fannie is because Clinton forced banks against their will to give out risky loans to deadbeats who couldn't afford them. Then Bush did nothing to stop the bleeding-well he tried, and Congress overruled him as I recall. There were many warnings, but many more people turning open the tap ofo free money. It all came down like a house of cards. Next, go look up the definition of "community organizer". What do you think that is??? An Acorn type supporter, working to coerce local government and banks to push loans and such to undeserving, lazy individuals who don't want to work like I and others did to afford housing and all the goodies that hard work bring. This is Obama's best resume content?????
We cannot just continue to push for all these handouts and expect to stay above third world country status. Do you think if all those Rosie the Riveters and airplane and vehicle factory workers in WWII had maintained this "somebody owes me" attitude we would be still speaking English? NOPE. Wir wurden Deutsch sprechen.

You lefties just don't get it. The Russians and Chavez, they are laughing at us, with the rate at which we are adopting socialistic, marxist policies. Policies that don't work. Let's not even get started on nationalized health care.

Well to answer your post regarding the difference, between Palin and Obama is simple. Palin has actually been investigated
by the legal system for each and every complaint, and found innocent. But found guilty by the media and all those idiots who believe everything the MSM dishes out. Obama's birth certificate issue, despite being a big thing for the lefties back during the election with John McCain, got big press by the MSM. But now that the shoe is on the other foot, after those responsible to ensure laws were followed fell in love with their messiah, the MSM is completely reluctant to give any press to the issue, despite that it is 10 times bigger issue now that the office is filled, likely by a foreigner. They cannot even get billboard coverage by the big companies, CBS and the others despite our "freedom of expression" and "free press". States' attorneys general and federal judges are either looking out for themselves or looking for federal posts, and overlooking these complaints, despite their obvious merit. The supreme court has one suit now that may take hold, it awaits response from the defense, under time extension due a few weeks from now. Likely they will extend and extend till 8 years is up.

Remind me again how free we are.

But blackmonrikker,
Obama IS hiding something. Nobody, I mean NOBODY goes to such lengths to seal their own birth and college records. Don't distract that fact, from the previous statement regarding Obama's overall costs for attorneys. They all spend money on attorneys. Bush and all of them. But nobody I can recall has spent money on attorneys sealing personal information that is not only required to even be considered for POTUS position, but is deemed public knowledge once such office is attained.

A couple thoughts as we stand on our soap box in regards to Iran.
My hat goes off to the Iranian people. I have personally met a few while in Germany. They were just like our middle class American folks. They want peace, and mock their idiot leaders, when and where they can, just like we do.

But 2 things strike me, that are going better for them, than for us. We say we are so free. We shout it out vaguelt, with no real idea what that means. What a joke. 2 reasons I say this:

1) If we were in the same position, engaging in nonviolent street protests, we would not be facing the occasional militia with tear gas, it would be jackboot thugs police types hellbent on killing, dressed in SWAT uniforms, toting assault rifles and shotguns. There would be many many more casualties and deaths. We claim we are so free. Go try and start street protests, with enough people that scare the authorities and the military will be on your heels. We are no better than Iran, just more orderly and quiet with our government control. Even the media is under Obama's hypnosis.

2) With all the assaults to our constitution, and now with this left wing marxist nonsense, Washington, Jefferson and John Adams are surely rolling in their graves. What is worse, we haven't the moxy to do anything like the street protests our cousins in Iran are doing right now. Our people are too stupid, too mollified, too sleepy to give a damn. And we will soon receive the results of that behavior. With all this invasion of private industry, bank bailouts, printing money, robbing the coffers to payoff the cronies of those in power, consideration of a major debacle in nationalized health care that would surely fail, and not to mention the birth certificate issue, it just amazes me that we are not in the streets protesting as well. Oh, I guess it is because of #1 above.

Remind me again how free we are.

This is a typical leftie reverse logic statement they are so fond of using. They cannot defend their own, so they either (1) smear the opposition they fear the most (Palin and Rush for example) or turn around any valid complaint against those on the left, as if it instead somehow applies to the accuser. It is the kind of logic we used on the elementary school playground, and it just tires me to see it again and again. The left is scared sh&*less of Sarah Palin, combined with the free opportunity in Alaska to throw out ethics complaints, makes it easy for them and just unfair for the accused. They have thus far all been thrown out. Alaska needs to rethink their policies and make it cost more to make false accusations. Like jail time.

Sheppard Smith is permitted his own opinion. Whether it is right or wrong, whether he has done his homework or not. Clearly he has not done his homework, but I won't personally attack him for his opinion, or even make sexual rape jokes about his children. We conservatives generally take the high road. But let's not make it about an "us against them thing". That's what this administration wants. What the last administration depended on. Keep the people fighting amongst themselves, so they continue to ignore the man behind the curtain. I wasn't enamored with the last president either. Many of us weren't. Just because many of us are for conservative principles and common sense and decency, doesn't mean we are necessarily republicans. Can't we all just find common ground, use common sense, and see this government is out of control? How many unconstitutional "czars" answering only to the president do we need? When will enough be enough for people already, before they stop infighting to see the real threat to this republic?????

Yes zauberer on both counts. Illogical and nasty, typical of a liberal. Here is why.

Obama is not a god, he is a public servant. As such, his qualifications are open for review. Our corrupt Congress should have done its work in this regard, however it is our duty as citizens to uphold the constitution of this republic. His records are to be open to inspection and review. Is he a god? He certainly thinks so, and so do many of you kool-aid drinkers, but like all of us, there are criteria to be met, to hold any public, and many private positions. True citizenship is one of them, for office of president. Like our Hollywood stars, a person in the public eye has less expectation of personal privacy. Otherwize the paparazzi would be out of business. Not my opinion, but simple fact (go ahead and start spitting again, we are all used to it...)

Is that logical enough for you? Need I break it down to see through your kool-aid induced haze?

There is a common thread of rebuke method by liberals. If confronted with solid argument or facts, they spew hate and illogical nasty argument. Look at the recent Sarah Palin and her daughter's attacks. Imagine had Rush or some other liberal made a sexist comment about Obama's wife and/or daughters. There would be a firestorm, and racist accusations. Point being, there is very good reason to address this birth certificate issue, the republic cannot be ruled by an imposter based on a lie, it rots the very fabric the country is founded upon. Ignore the lefty loon attackers, they rarely have a logical or truthful argument, they will spit on you if they cannot win with words- every time. Take the high road, we are the better people for it. Demand this "citizen imposter" provide real proof of citizenship. Why on earth would anybody go to such lengths to hide his birth and college info if there weren't something to hide? Simple logic with a simple conclusion.
