Could pass laws at the state level that set up a system for proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that a person is eligible to run. It would only take a couple of states to vigorously enforce the constitution to ensure that a fraud like this does not happen again.

What an assumption! I personally contacted that waste of a human that keeps getting elected to congress as "my representative", both senators, state sec. of state, my local newspaper, the GOP and Dem. parties and others. In Sept. 2008!

I got a version of the same (non)response form letter from each one.

So I'm just supposed to roll over and wet on myself? Sorry not going to happen.

If he really is the pres. then he works for us and we can demand whatever we want!

FYI its not "spamming" if it comes one at a time from real people instead of software.

It is important to us that is why we will not let it go.

If we are a nation of laws then Obama works for us (for now) and we have every right to demand whatever we want to settle this issue.

If we are a nation of men then it is too late and none of this matters. Let the prison camps be filled with those of us who will not move in lock step with the current despot.

That is the crux of the whole issue. If he is the poser/fraud that many Americans believe (and some know) then it is our duty to see him out of the oval office and undo all of his treasonous doings.

That is why we need to know. It is not a political question it is a fundamental question about what kind of society we are and are becoming.

He works for us and we demand it, it really is that simple. I for one would never have thought that a poser of this magnitude would come along. since that is the case though I say investigate every president's eligibility requirements starting with George Washington and any future candidates. It is the least we can do to ensure it never does happen.

How will history be written without facts about his past? I guess all of those would-be biographers will just have to repeat the official line.

What if past president's life before the oval office was a black hole or worse a confusing morass of dysfunction and questionable friendships but to documentation to verify any of it?

at the least he is keeping interesting american history out of the hands of future generations at the most he is the biggest con-man in history and should be in prison.
