  Google does it again on where the "Open" Government discussion was moved to.

  Despite efforts by a some, including this site, to not be very OPEN about where these discussions are continued in the second phase I have discovered the website: http://blog.ostp.gov/2009/06/03/open-government-initiative-discussion-phase-transparency-principles/comment-page-1/#comment-8834 I have also discovered that discussions about the constitutionality of presidential qualifications are being deleted as they have ...more »

  The Reason Why the Moderators Delete Posts, Comments and Votes

  A comment was made that the contents of the Open Government Dialogue was moved to somewhere else. I still can't find anything about it but discovered the following Moderator comment on the home page: "But please keep in mind that flooding the site with comments about any single topic dilutes both the importance of that topic and the effectiveness of the Dialogue overall." In other words because a topic is so important ...more »

  A comment was made that the contents of the Open Government Dialogue was moved to somewhere else. I still can't find anything about it but discovered the following Moderator comment on the home page:

  "But please keep in mind that flooding the site with comments about any single topic dilutes both the importance of that topic and the effectiveness of the Dialogue overall."

  In other words because a topic is so important that numerous comments are made about it then the importance of the topic becomes diluted! Strange logic!

  The "Right of Passage?" is Number 4

  This was the one I referred to in my post a couple of minutes ago as being number 3 in the Top Rated All category. It will interesting to see if this gets eliminated if it rises to the top position.

  THIS IS IMPORTANT!

  The way this site is set up is based on thumbs up votes. Go to the All category (to the left), set the filter on Top Rated (under the Presidential Seal at the right). Beginning on latter pages there are still a few requests for Birth Certificate posts. Vote for the top few. You can still make your own post, but the only way to see that this issue gets to the top is to vote for mainly one post. THERE ARE MANY MORE POSITIVE VOTES ON THIS ISSUE THAN ANY OTHER BUT THEY ARE SPREAD OVER MANY MANY POSTS
