Tax paying citizens only allowed to vote, and more....great ideas!!!
Please look into allowing only tax paying citizens the right to cast a vote. I am tired of entitlement recipients and fabricated voters (ACORN ordeal - I think Obama knows this organization pretty well) making decisions and determinations of how this country will be run when they by no means have no stake or participation in the matter. Please look into allowing only tax paying citizens the right to cast a vote. I am tired of entitlement recipients and fabricated voters (ACORN ordeal - I think Obama knows this organization pretty well) making decisions and determinations of how this country will be run when they by no means have no stake or participation in the matter. Those retired, that contributed to the system, still could maintain their voting rights. However, those in HUD housing, welfare, and other programs should have no right to determine issues that effect my outlay of hard earned dollars. Thanks!
In addition, while you are at it - take a look at the fairtax. This would solve a multitude of issues, and generate income for the government by a means fairly distributed. It would attract business to this country by eliminating the corporate taxes, and would sure simplify the tax issues. Heck, we could get rid of the IRS, reduce the budget, eliminate the non-taxpaying individual, eliminate the tax evading people (I think you all know some of those personally....LoL). This is a good idea that is common sense.
While you are at it, perhaps you could let me have a whack at your budgets. I would love to reduce the size of government, and allow working individuals to keep more of their incomes. You know what? I'd do this for free as a service to our country. Hand the budget to me, I will cut at least 50% of your issues, and I won't take months in doing it. We (together) can make a difference that would make everyone happy! Isn't that what you promised anyway?
Oh! I am on a roll here, but I got another good one...let's throw in some term limits for congressional and senate seats. Another - slap some campaign finance reform (a little dose of we the people you know), a shake of immigration ENFORCEMENT of existing policy (you gotta love that one), a smidge of reverting back to our constitution, and following it, and the best yet - this is the one that get's me cooking. Let's make those that receive federal aid for welfare actually work 40 hours a week with a toothbrush, water, and cleaner cleaning the roadways, bricks on buildings, and increasing the look and feel of our urban areas. Let's hold them accountable in order to receive a check - what's the harm in that? You say "they have children to tend to" well, have 1 in 10 be a caretaker for the kids while the remainder fulfill their duties. I think that would definately make people like me happier to pay into the system to help these folks out.
Oh, I will offer to throw a 50 spot for Pelosi to get a facial too. We need to spruce our image!
