Everyone complains about Obama apologizing to the Europeans for America's "arrogance", his bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia, his failure to provide his long form birth certificate, his total lack of understanding of American values with statements such as "No American President should do ...).

It should be obvious that Barack Hussein Obama has no understanding why these actions are upsetting, to say the least, to the vast majority of United States citizens because he is not an American! He is not American by birth or by his raising in Indonesia and has no concept of the values upon which the United States was founded because he doesn't know, much less share, those values. It doesn’t matter how many times the left laughs off the perfectly reasonable and legitimate requests to see his long form birth certificate because they are just adding to the fuel powering the need for the American public to know the truth!

Why Is This Idea Important?
Tranparency in government should start with making it transparent that those in government are constitutionally qualified to even be there to start with.

7% is hardly a "significant margin" and what does the 14th amendment have to do with presenting Obama's birth certificate somehow being a bad thing?

14th Amendment Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.

All we are asking to know is whether or not he was born in the U.S. or naturalized or neither.

Once again for all of you liberals out there, if Snopes is your only source, please don't bother posting or commenting.

If he was not born in the U.S., he is not a citizen based on his mother's citizenship. His mother was only 18 when he was born and did not qualify to pass that citizenship on. To pass on citizenship a person must have lived in the U.S. for 10 years, 6 of which must be after age 14. If he was indeed born in Kenya or anywhere other than the U.S. the only way he could be a U.S. citizen is through naturalization which is not enough to be president.

You are correct that Obama would be a natural born citizen whether or not his parents were if he was actually born in Hawaii or any other U.S. state. All we are asking for is proof of that. Pretty simple request don't you think?

No one had to ask for either Bush's documentation as it was a matter of public record just the same as Obama's should be, but thay didn't hire a pile of lawyers to block public access.

If you did "didn't want to take the time to spell out all the details" writing - "Neither did McCain but his senate cronies tried to convince us they had the power to convey NBC status (which they didn't)." sure doesn't sound like you knew it was false and just didn't want to get bogged down. Sounds more like you were actively attacking McCain to me. Don't really see where I was insulting to you, but your answer is an insult to our intelligence.

How about we ban "info" who seems to only be capable of cutting and pasting the same "bogus" comment on every idea that he/she manages to click on?

If you love "Single Payer", i.e. government sponsored health care why don't you move to England and get in line for some dental work on the government tab? There is a reason why they call the condition of poor oral hygiene "British Teeth". If you really want to support socialist health care try getting cancer treatment in Canada (and no, I don’t wish for you to get cancer).

McCain's parents were both U.S. citizens. The question with McCain's qualification was that he was born in the Panama Canal Zone while his father was posted there on active duty with the U.S. Navy.

Please do a little research before you blather on about things you don't know.

This actually needs to go further back than just the VP. Here is a list with the note that the person must be constitutionally qualified in order to succeed to the office of the President (just that little niggling requirement that seems to give the librals such fits).

1. The president pro tempore presides over the Senate when the vice president is absent. The president pro tempore is elected by the Senate, but by tradition the position is held by the senior member of the majority party.

If this list doesn't scare the cr*p out of you I don't know what will! Back in Nixon's day Henry Kissinger was blocked from the succession under the rule requiring a natural born citizen. All on this list appear to be qualified as Natural Born citizens unlike the politician who appointed them.
