  I don't see anyone complaining that you deleted their "legalize marijuana" post of which there are MANY MANY duplicates. This tells me the only posts being deleted are the ones addressing Obama's eligibility to serve as President. If anyone believes the order to do so isn't coming directly from the White House, I have some ocean front property in Arizona I'd like to sell you.

  Changes to benefits for congress/senate and term limits for both

  The only way we're going to rid ourselves (to the degree we can) of the corruption in Washington and the power of special interests is to impose term limits on our congressmen/women and senators. Two terms, just like the president, then they cannot run again. Why has this not been done yet, since it sounds so logical? Because the ones who would have to submit it to vote and vote for it are the same ones we want to ...more »

  The only way we're going to rid ourselves (to the degree we can) of the corruption in Washington and the power of special interests is to impose term limits on our congressmen/women and senators. Two terms, just like the president, then they cannot run again. Why has this not been done yet, since it sounds so logical? Because the ones who would have to submit it to vote and vote for it are the same ones we want to limit.....

  Also, it is ridiculous that we continue to pay members of congress after they leave office and that they continue to get benefits for life. When someone leaves any other job, their benefits from that employer - except those they pay into like a 401K, cease to exist. Why are our congressmen and senators, as well as the President treated differently??

  Finally, the folks representing us, controlling social security, need to be paying into it. Something needs to be done to require those folks representing us in Washington to pay into social security and medicare just like rest of working America has to. Either that, or it needs to be made optional for all of us. I'd rather have the latter seeing as it will be bankrupt due to mismanagement by the time I'm retirement age.
