The White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, stated in his response to the WND reporter that the BIRTH CERTIFICATE WAS ON THE PRESIDENT’S WEB SITE.

Let us examine that statement under the harsh light of fact and logic.

On that COLB it states, that it is prima facie evidence of the fact of birth. Just what is prima facie evidence? Here are a couple of definitions and their sources upon which all of us, INCLUDING MR. GIBBS, may wish to give some thought.

Evidence that (1) establishes a fact but is not a conclusive evidence of its existence, or (2) supports a judgment UNTIL CONTRADICTORY EVIDENCE IS PRODUCED IN ITS REBUTTAL. Also called presumptive evidence. See also prima facie case.

NOUN: Law Evidence that would, IF UNCONTESTED, establish a fact or raise a presumption of a fact

Here is an excerpt from the affidavit of Sandra Lines, a licensed document forensics examiner, sworn UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY:

(Statement #2) I have reviewed the attached affidavit posted on the internet from "Ron Polarik." who has declined to provide his name because of a number of death threats be bas received. After my review and based upon my years of experience, I CAN STATE WITH CERTAINTY that the COLB presented on the internet by the various groups, which include the "Daily Kos," the Obama Campaign, "Factcheck.OIJ" and others CANNOT BE RELIED ON AS GENUINE. Mr. Polarik raises issues concerning the COLB that I can affirm. Software such as Adobe Photoshop can produce complete images or alter images that appear to be genuine; tberefore, ANY IMAGE OFFERED ON THE INTERNET CANNOT BE RELIED ON AS BEING A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENT.

(Statement #4) In my experience as a forensic document examiner. If an original of any document exists; THAT IS THE DOCUMENT TO BE EXAMINED to obtain a definitive finding of genuineness or non¬genuineness. In this case, EXAMINATION OF THE VAULT BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR PRESIDEN-ELECT OBAMA would lay this issue to rest once and for all."

It should be noted, if you review the entire statement that, after making it, she had an opportunity to review an un-redacted on line copy of the COLB. After viewing it, she made a clarification regarding item 3. I do not have a citation for that clarifying statement but it is not pertinent to this discussion.

To Press Secretary Gibbs and any others who still hold the on line COLB as prima facie evidence of Obama’s fact of birth, please remember your argument is not with me. If you have one iota of honesty in your entire body, you must ask the following questions of yourself or personally contact Ms Lines to QUESTION HER conclusions and/or qualifications:

1. Do you agree that Ms Lines states that the on line COLB not be taken at face value?
2. Do you agree that she offers a reasonable solution for that deficiency? (PRODUCE THE LONG FORM CERTIFICATE)
3. Do you question the qualifications of Ms Lines to arrive at the conclusions and make the recommendation she did?
4. If you do question them, do you have comparable qualifications that you feel allow you to do so? If so, will you please enumerate those for this forum?
5. If you do not question Ms Lines qualifications and admit that her ability to question the on line COLB is technically superior to yours, will you please explain to this forum why you would still hold the COLB at face value?
