Fox news among others has filed papers requesting release of the photos taken during the Manhattan flyover on A1, through the Freedom of Information Act. So far the airforce and the Whitehouse have responded with ridiculous contradicting statements, obviously using any means necessary to stonewall those requesting the photos and attempting to delay or obstruct the release of said photos. Where's the transparency?
We could heat the entire US by harnessing all the hot air over Washington D.C.
Here's a novel idea. Why not reduce the salaries of ALL Senators and Congressmen to $50,000 a year, give them 4 yr term limits and instead of retiring with a hefty government pension, have them pay-in to Social Seurity and medicare like the rest of us. If you did that you would see men and women who actually CARE about this country and it's citizens running for office instead of those who only do it to collect an exorbitant pay check with ridiculously extravagant retirement benefits. Government officials sport around the country in their big expensive gas guzzlers and jets while expecting us to purchase matchbox cars. They sit back in their cushy air conditioned offices and preach to us about keeping our thermostats at 68 degrees. Instead of conducting studies on how global warming is being caused by cow farts and obese people maybe we should do a study on the air temperature over D.C. I would not be surprised to see that global warming is being caused by all the hot air being produced in Washington.
How can we expect transparency in our government when the man chosen for POTUS laughs in the face of citizens who ask him to perform a simple task; one that all of us must do for our children to be eligible to play sports or take part in community activities. Why spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on lawyers who suppress the release of birth and college records if there is nothing to hide?

They've produced ONE photo that could have been created with photoshop. Since it cost an exorbitant amount of TAX PAYER money to take A1 for a joy ride over Manhattan, while the United States is financially (and morally I might add) bankrupt. Those tax payers have a right to see what their money was spent on.

You can't squirt water up a terrorist's nose but you can taze a student for refusing to get off her cell phone, or a college kid who disrupts a speech. Being tazed is painful torture..we can torture our own citizens but aren't allowed to induce discomfort on a known terrorist who may have information that leads to the prevention of the massacre of hundreds of our citizens.

Robert Gibbs was merely implementing Alinsky's Rules for Radicals -"Rule 5: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage." His smug laughter and complete dismissal of Les Consolving's question infuriated many of us and we responded; Maybe we all went overboard here with our commenting but we're just implementing our "Right Wing terrorist" rules-
Rule 1 "The squeaky wheel gets the grease". Maybe if enough of us make some noise, someone will finally notice.

Give Me a break...this site probably tracks your ip address. Therefore they can easily verify these comments are coming from legitimate multiple computers and not one or two people with multiple email identities.

Ditto. The fact that someone would rather pay lawyers to suppress release of school and birth records makes one look as though they have something to hide. How can one call for transparency in the government when we don't have it in our elected officials? If we indeed have an illigitimate POTUS, anything he has signed, passed or implemented will be null and void, as worthless as the paper it is written on.
