Listen everyone, don't just sit back and let them keep stealing our freedom. STAND UP. STAND OUT. MAKE A SCENE. BE HEARD! The censorship on this site may be the first real wake-up for some. This administration seems want to eliminate and discredit any and all opposition and is getting away with every bit of it. Wake up!! Do NOT accept it. They work for US. Remember, first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.(Gandhi) Don't just sit back and waste time here. Get out organize at the local level. Run for local office, support liberty-minded candidates, write/call/fax your representatives, and vote the criminals OUT!
This is doing nothing to further open government if we can't use this site as intended. It is absolutely pathetic that we can't have an open discussion of ideas without censorship. If people do not agree, that is what the discussion area below the idea is for. We can't even have talk of open government on a website specifically built to further the cause of it. Wow.
Audit the Federal Reserve and make the records public. Enough said. Listen to RON PAUL, President Obama. That would help you tremendously.
Your long-form birth certificate, Mr. Obama, is the first step for making this administration more transparent. Everything you say about making government more open is meaningless and hypocritical unless you PROVE YOUR ELIGIBILITY TO SERVE.

Edward,
I posted this idea once, for the record. The rules were taken into consideration, though admittedly, I didn't look at all of the other posts before I posted mine. Though, if I would have looked, which spam post should I have picked to add my thoughts to?? Why weren't the others removed as duplicates? Why was my post removed and then revived two days later if duplicates were a problem?? I fail to see why the rules matter if the moderators aren't following them, but that's just me. I do not have an attitude, but if someone gets rude with me, I will stand up for myself.

I did not take into consideration your personal convenience when I posted. Get off my back. At least I'm not spamming and I make my points clearly and coherently, which is more than can be said for so many other posts. This site has real potential if the moderators start being fair and consistent and people follow the rules and stop with the personal attacks and offensive comments.

"luvwith," I only posted one idea for that issue. Do not blindly accuse me without looking at what I've posted. Do not get me started on how others have posted multiple times. It's pathetic, immature, and annoying. I am not them. I am an individual, who had an idea that I thought would contribute to more open government and lend the president some(apparently) much needed credibility. *I* believe it is an issue so *I* posted it. I have the right to express my views and will continue to do so, in a respectful manner. Take your attitude elsewhere as I will not put up with it.

Sometimes, but not always Mr. Bauer. Young people should not be generalized. Whatever happened to people serving based on their own initiative and plans. I challenge anyone to force me to serve and help carry out the government's corrupt agenda, whether it is war, national service, or anything else they can dream up. There is no law, tax credit, incentive of any kind, or government official that will make me. I do not stand alone in this.

klingspoon.troy, I have stated clearly my idea, and reasons why it is important. I believe this is that if the president wants to make government more transparent, he should start with this critical first step. John McCain was scrutinized for the same reasons, and Obama should get the same treatment. There may or may not be a group spamming this site. I am not aware, nor do I care if they are. Personally, I think spamming is immature and a sign of weakness. There are just a large number of private individuals(which is what I am, stating my own thoughts on the matter) that want open government and transparency, which is what the site was created to help establish.

I am not corrupting this site. I have made a legitimate request of the President, as have others. I am free to give my ideas, just as you to give yours that I may or may not agree with. Just because you do not agree, does not mean I am promoting hate. Though your comments to me are doing a pretty good job of it. How about relevant, intelligent discussion to the topic I posted instead of spewing your garbage. If you disagree, say so and tell why. Thank you.

We live in a Republic, NOT a democracy. Just throwing that out there.
