Obama adds 78,000 new employees to government payroll. 2009 budget grows to a deficit of $1.8 trillion, more than four times higher than last year’s all time high and 50% of total budget

With the national debt already out of control, President Obama has added 78,000 new government jobs to the federal payroll since he took office. Obama’s increase in the number of government employees will add hundreds of millions of dollars to our debt. If history is any measure, these jobs will never be eliminated. They will simply add to the mountains of debt we are leaving our grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Government spending is filled with pork earmarks like this: The National Institutes of Health will pay $2.6 million in U.S. tax dollars to train Chinese prostitutes to drink responsibly on the job.

Obama and Congress continue to spend money the government doesn’t have. The deficit for the current year will be $1.8 trillion, 50% of the total budget. In order to pay interest on the debt, the government will have to cut spending, raise taxes, print more paper money or borrow from another country like China, which already holds billions of U.S. debt. With no end of spending in sight, some estimates project that our national debt could reach $8 trillion by the year 2014.

Obama and liberals in Congress are taking us down the road to socialism, seizing control of key banks, insurance companies, the automobile industry, etc. They are currently working on a government funded national health care program which is expected to cost roughly $2 trillion while rationing services.

Are you fed up with a Congress and a president who:

Voted for a $500 billion tax bill without even reading it?
Are spending trillions of borrowed dollars, leaving a debt our great-grandchildren will be paying?
Consistently give special interest groups billions of dollars in earmarks to help get themselves re-elected?
Want to take your wealth and redistribute it to others?
Punish those who practice responsible financial behavior and reward those who do not?
Admit to using the financial hurt of millions as an opportunity to push their political agenda?
Run up trillions of dollars of debt and then sell that debt to countries such as China?

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

If George W.. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cheat on their income taxes, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had a Republican Congress allocate 5.6 Billion dollars for a civilian volunteer security force, as strong and well equipped as the regular Army and under his personal authority, would you have been concerned?

Bush had promised detailed tracking of the spending from a $785 Billion Stimulus Bill and then postponed that oversight until 2010, would you approve or would you think something "smelled fishy"? If Bush had promised 48 hour advance posting of the same bill on the Internet and only released it two hours before congressional approval, would you wonder what was being hidden from the public?

If Bush's White House Staff had spent over $300,000 flying Air Force One low over New York (for a publicity photo flyby with the Statue of Liberty) frightening the city, wouldn't you have expected Bush to make the pictures public? Would you have approved? Obama won't give them up, but he will release the secret "torture memos".

If George W. Bush had been "addicted" to using a TelePrompTer, and was afraid to give a speech without having one, would you have approved ? Would you think he was intellegent?

If George W. Bush had pre-approved/pre-picked the list of reporters allowed to ask questions at his press conferences and refused to call on the correspondent from MSNBC (FOX with Obama), would you have approved? Is that a Fair and Balanced news conference?

If George W. Bush and a Republican Congress had given hundreds of millions of dollars to a group (the right-wing equivalent of ACORN) after its members had been convicted of voter registration fraud, would you approve of them to doing the 2010 Census, which will determine congressional districts for 10 years? Will you trust ACORN in 2010?

Would you have approved of George W. Bush moving the Census from the Dept. of Commerce into the White House and putting his Chief of Staff in control of the counting?

He's done all this in 24 weeks -- so we still have three years and six-and-a-half months full of surprises.

Passport Possibilities: What is the TRUTH? 

I just read this Online: Poses interesting questions.

BY THE TIME WE AMERICAN'S GET ALL THE PROOF WE NEED THEY WILL HAVE "CHANGED" THE RULING'S FOR BEING ELIGIBLE FOR THE U.S. PRESIDENCY. JUST ONE OF ALL THE THINGS IN OBAMA'S "YES I CAN & WE NEED A CHANGE" PROMISE. RETROACTIVE OF COURSE!!!!

We've all seen the email's and can read post on here about Obama's citizenship. This is a new twist WE hadn't known.
More questions, and this time some good questions.

The issue can be resolved by Obama answering one simple question:

What passport did he use when he was shuttling between New York, Jakarta, and Karachi?

So how did a young man who arrived in New York in early June 1981, without the price of a hotel room in his pocket, suddenly come up with the price of a round-the-world trip just a month later? And once he was on a plane, shuttling between New York, Jakarta, and Karachi, what passport was he offering when he passed through Customs and Immigration?

The American people not only deserve to have answers to these questions, they must have answers. It makes the debate over Obama's citizenship a rather short and simple one.

Q: Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981, at age 20?
A: Yes, by his own admission.

Q: What passport did he travel under?
A: There are only three possibilities.

1. He traveled with a U.S. Passport,

2. He traveled with a British passport, or

3. He traveled with an Indonesia passport.


Q: Is it possible that Obama traveled with a U.S. Passport in 1981?
A: No. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. State Department's "no travel" list in 1981.

Conclusion: When Obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was traveling either with a British passport or an Indonesian passport.

If he was traveling with a British passport that would provide proof that he was born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not in Hawaii as he claims. And if he was traveling with an Indonesian passport that would tend to prove that he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British or American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in 1967.

Whatever the truth of the matter, the American people need to know how he managed to become a "natural born" American citizen between 1981 and 2008..

Given the destructive nature of his plans for America, as illustrated by his speech before Congress and the disastrous spending plan he has presented to Congress, the sooner we learn the truth of all this, the better.

Count me in as one of those inquiring minds who'd at least like to know the answers to these easily answered (by Obama) questions.
This discussion can be resolved by Obama simply by releasing a few documents.

Illegal Immigration and Government Benefits 

Couple of thoughts this morning...(and I haven't had my coffee YET!) First, how is it that anyone NOT a LEGAL citizen here in this country should be eligible for government assitance (Welfare, food stamps)??? Worst yet, maybe I could understand if they were here legally, but ILLEGALS? I will draw the line on those particular benefits, since WIC is for the children, and it's not their fault their parents are criminals.

Second: How about we curtail ALL benefits to ILLEGALS, and limit any "handouts" to ANYONE, unless they submit to drug screening? Most of we "tax payers" must comply when we're attempting to get a new job, when we join the military, etc... so I think it should be required the other way around. If you are not actively seeking employment, and staying drug-free... NO BENEFITS!

I just saw a video with Michelle Obama working in a soup line, feeding the homeless in D.C., which was a wonderful gesture, and I commend her for helping others. (To an extent) but here is this man in line, taking her photo with a BLACKBERRY!!!

OK, so that makes sense. Let's think about this....
Someone who is homeless & needs FREE food has a BLACKBERRY...Hmmm.
OK, so how is it he can afford that, and if he is indeed homeless, where are they sending the bill?

There needs to be a NEW system to detect FRAUD in our assistance programs. Maybe like the WIC program, electronic CARDS with all INFO on the person popping up when they slide it. Then if the wrong person has the card, it could be denied. We need more stringent rules perhaps, for ever attaining a "Benefit Card", which could include PROVING your LEGAL status, including those who have LEGAL work permits if necessary. The savings would be astronomical.

Fair Tax 

Although NOT MY idea, this is an awesome start for real "change", and fairness to all.

The FairTax plan is a comprehensive proposal that replaces all federal income and payroll based taxes with an integrated approach including a progressive national retail sales tax, a prebate to ensure no American pays federal taxes on spending up to the poverty level, dollar-for-dollar federal revenue neutrality, and, through companion legislation, the repeal of the 16th Amendment.

The FairTax Act (HR 25, S 296) is nonpartisan legislation. It abolishes all federal personal and corporate income taxes, gift, estate, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security, Medicare, and self-employment taxes and replaces them with one simple, visible, federal retail sales tax administered primarily by existing state sales tax authorities.

The FairTax taxes us only on what we choose to spend on new goods or services, not on what we earn. The FairTax is a fair, efficient, transparent, and intelligent solution to the frustration and inequity of our current tax system.

The FairTax:

Enables workers to keep their entire paychecks
Enables retirees to keep their entire pensions
Refunds in advance the tax on purchases of basic necessities
Allows American products to compete fairly
Brings transparency and accountability to tax policy
Ensures Social Security and Medicare funding
Closes all loopholes and brings fairness to taxation
Abolishes the IRS

Transparency? 

From WND: The "Certification of Live Birth" posted online and widely touted as "Obama's birth certificate" does not in any way prove he was born in Hawaii, since the same "short-form" document is easily obtainable for children not born in Hawaii. The true "long-form" birth certificate – which includes information like the name of the birth hospital and attending physician – is the only document that can prove Obama was born in Hawaii, but to date he has not permitted its release for public or press scrutiny.

From Joseph Farah, WND: The billboard campaign was born of frustration with timid elected officials in Washington, corrupt judges around the country and a news media that show a stunning lack of curiosity about the most basic facts of Obama's background – especially how it relates to constitutional eligibility for the highest office in the land.

"As Obama transforms this country from self-governing constitutional republic to one governed by a central ruling elite, the simple fact remains that no controlling legal authority has established that he is indeed a 'natural born citizen' as the Constitution requires," Farah said. "Obama's promises of transparency have become a bad joke as he continues to hide simple, innocuous documents like his birth certificate and his student records."

The idea behind the billboard campaign is to make sure Obama cannot avoid this question any longer. He must be asked to produce it at every turn, Farah says. Billboard space is currently being hunted in Houston, Dallas, Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle and other metro areas.

"Is it unusual for a news agency to launch such a campaign?" asks Farah. "Yes it is. But we live in very unusual times. The founding fathers built special protections into the First Amendment for the free press. The reason they did that is because they understood a vibrant 'Fourth Estate' was necessary as an independent watchdog on government. It is in that tradition that WND assumes this role – since nobody else in the press will do it."

Oddly, though congressional hearings were held to determine whether Sen. John McCain was constitutionally eligible to be president as a "natural born citizen," no controlling legal authority ever sought to verify Obama's claim to a Hawaiian birth.
