Communicate the true costs of healthcare reform, cap and trade, and other proposals

The President is hiding the true costs of his programs. He mostly touts the phantom "savings" his proposals will supposedly reap as a benefit. Please communicate the true costs of increased energy taxes, taxes to pay for healthcare, and the like. Should also include the estimated jobs and lives lost as a result of the poor being unable to heat their homes and the rationing of healthcare, etc;...in addition ...more »

Truth & Reconciliation Commissions

I thought someone else more qualified would put this up, but I see a need to get it up now.

I believe we need two Truth & Reconciliation Commissions--one to address what we have done as a nation and as independent states to our Native American, our Americans of African descent, and other groups; and a second one to address what we have allowed our government and our corporations to do to others "in our name."

Environment

Why is that citizens are the one's that are punished and fined to support the EPA while letting the real polluters go with not so much as a slap on the wrist. Our vehiles have to be smogged costing us at least $45.00 per vehicle and that is if all testing passes. Factories and large production facilites have caused 99% of the damage to our environment, our wildlife, and our water. I have done extensive research just ...more »

Require agencies to change their falsehoods under the "Information Quality Act"

Congress passed the Information Quality Act to require government agencies to tell the truth, and to respond and correct their facts when citizens point out falsehoods. But agencies get stuck in their lies and decline to follow this law. In particular, there's a current court case against HHS regarding whether marijuana has any legitimate use in medicine. The agency has argued to the court that despite the Act, they ...more »

Do science, tell the truth and then write laws that honor reality.

LLPF=BP. Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire equals Bad Policy. When the public notices a blatant lie, it undermines credibility on all statements. People automatically conclude that if they were lied to on one subject, then they question the validity of other subjects. Change 'In God We Trust' to 'Trust Truth, Freedom, Love'

The word God can mean many things to different people. I believe in one god and I think Truth, Freedom, Love sums God up realy well. There seem to be to many people out there that believe in a God of lies, slavery, and hate and I do not want some people who reject God because of lies, slavery, and hate preached by some, to think I have any thing to do with a so called God. Because my God is a God of Truth, Freedom, Love. ...more »

Only One Honest Truth...

Forget the wars, bookkeeping, insurance claims, collections, debts, restrictions, sunsets, and every U.S. civilian record keeping official with access to the personal information of others. In one statement...Forget about obtaining/holding onto "POWER"! The force of Power will always prevail over those who desire it unless they were god (everything on earth would die if that power was on earth). Did you actually think ...more »

Why won't U.F.O's be taken Seriously?

Obviously, there is a large mass of people that consider this a valid and important topic; and it's our right as American citizens that pay the taxes that keeps the debt rolling, to know the facts about UFO's and any extraterrestrials that either are present on Earth or have been present on Earth. I'm not suggesting having the utmost secret information but i think we absolutely have the right to know that they in fact ...more »
