Make Immigration process transparent

HI !! I think government should make immigration process transparent. I don't understand why a super power like US would have an immigration system in which you wouldn't know when you will get your case processed. One month we receive a newsletter saying that EB2 and EB3 categories are current for India and the next month it goes back 4-5 years or becomes unavailable for the rest of the year. Why can't we have a transparent ...more »

Get out of our way-stop social and fiscal manipulating

o The American people built this country through innovation and hard work. o The government began manipulating our monitary system and our social identiy and that's when our troubles began. o Close the borders so that Americans can do the jobs that alien illegals are being given. The open borders are the government's method of 'union busting' on a massive scale. It's working. The unions are busted and so is America. ...more »

Financial Punishment for those who HIRE Illegal Aliens

I grew up with a Green Card. I have nothing against LEGAL immigrants. I do have something against people who think that the immigration rules do not apply to them. It makes the rest pay for their misbehavior. However, locking up and deporting illegal aliens has been, and continues to be, ineffective, because desperate migrants have little to lose, and even if we dissuade that individual, there are many many more where ...more »

Making US mecca of Top Scientists and Engineers in the world once again

Immigration of Scientists and Engineers from around the world to US is one of the most strategic strength of this nation. In order to be at the forefront of the inventions and innovations of the 21st century US has to make legal incentives for Ph.D. students in Engineering and Basic Science majors to stay in US and contribute to the advance of science and technology after they have completed their studies here. We suggest ...more »

Stem Illegal Immigration

This is likely one of the most detrimental causes of cash haemorrhaging by a government in modern times. It is to a great credit the the past two administrations have at least shown some kind of interest in stemming the flow of illegal immigrants but the great majority of it has been to no real advantage. Firstly, this is a country of immigrants, the day we tell all the weak and the oppressed to "go back" to the perils ...more »

Be fair on immigration...NO amnesty

11-Year-Old Georgia Girl Ordered to Leave U.S. for Poland Over Paperwork Error http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,525750,00.html Is a headline today. Obama wants to give amnesty to 11 million mexicans who came here illegally, yet a family who is trying to do it the right way is going to see their daughter deported.... maybe if they change their last name to Garcia she would be allowed to stay and probably made ...more »

Don't let E-Verify expire. We need it to fight illegal immigration.

This is one of the biggest tools around to successfully fight illegal immigration. Basically it's an internet based system operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in partnership with the Social Security Administration (SSA) that allows participating employers to electronically verify the employment eligibility of their newly hired employees. Dozens of states have already made it the law to use this system ...more »

LEGAL immigration - not to be mixed with ILLEGAL immigration

There are many issues with legal immigration, which are very simple issues, and can be solved with very acceptable policy changes. But these changes doesnt happen often because they are mixed with issues of "illegal" immigration. (CIR attempts in last few years). Illegal immigration is a very hot topic, and there are strong arguments from both sides. So CIR is a good thing. But please please.... separate out the "legal" ...more »

Obama should NOT bring more Cubans to America

Obama is seeking to negotiate with Cuba in order for more Cubans to show up on our door step.

Our people have no jobs or job security. We cannot afford to pay for health care for our own people yet Obama wants to bring in more people of color to add to white people's burden! Incredible!

NO MORE FOREIGNERS for whites to take care of.

Staple a green card to every advanced degree awarded in the US

The US has made a *huge* investment in my education: I have both a Master's and most of a PhD from good US institutions, and neither has cost me a cent due to receiving fellowships and working as a research assistant. The US has therefore invested something like a quarter of a million dollars in me, only to send me home after my degree (because the F1 student visa is of "nonimmigrant intent"). After paying for me to ...more »

Equal Opportunity Employment Based Immigration - No country quotas

The current sorry state of affairs of Employment Based Immigrations favors people from countries other than India and China. If a company needs a particular individual for a particular position (Employment Based Immigration is for people and companies who could not find an American to do a particular job), it does not matter if that person is from India or China or somewhere else. Counrty quotas in Employment Based Immigration ...more »
