American citizenship or being a citizen of Heaven

If you had a choice between being an American citizen or being a citizen of Heaven, which would you choose? For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; Philippians 3:20 I am choosing being a citizen of Heaven since Obama and his team is taking America straight to world citizenship, and then straight to hell. Citizen of Heaven = Thumbs up Citizen of America ...more »

Planting Garbage

I'm not sure if I like this idea or not. If the manufacturers of plastic bags, cups -basically anything that traditionally becomes litter - sealed a few seeds into a small storage section at the bottom of their product then when non-green people tossed them out the window sooner or later some of the seeds would sprout. If they were flower seeds then we'd start seeing colors in unusual places, if they were crop seeds ...more »

The Tree of Obama

"You will know a tree by it's fruit." Matthew 7:16 The Obama Tree is a black Oak. The leaves protect the tree from the light of truth. The bark is hard and callus to prevent transparency. The fruit is the ACORN, to reproduce itself again and again. The roots of deception go deep into the American soil. Legal & Policy Challenges

Add labeling requirement to electrical devices

Devices which use electricity sold in the United States ought to be clearly labeled with maximum energy use while being actively used and while sitting idle. This should include all devices, from major appliances to USB peripherals and RAM chips.

Will Work for Whiskey (an objective test)

A lot of roads in our state (Florida, US) have signs under them saying they're maintained by "ABC Company" to keep the state clean. It's a win-win situation, the companies get free-advertising and the public gets clean roadways. This idea is a variation on that theme. Local panhandlers, and there are quite a few of them around here, could put in a claim for a section of road the same way that companies do. Once a ...more »

Self-Changing Lightbulbs

Since the government has already accepted the principle that it's okay to take an ownership stake in companies for the common good (GM, the banks, etc...) it should take a stake in companies where, with a little support, new products could be brought to market, giving the government a share of the profits to help pay down the debt. Buying a stake in a lightbulb manufacturing company and helping it develop the self-changing ...more »

Public/Private partnership

This term has been used to mean partnership funding, ownership and running of .... However, what is really important now is to change the meaning of that term. We now have to have business, government and employees working together. There has been too much emphasis on the 'business of business is business' and workers should receive less health and retirement benefits as well as loss of income and degraded working conditions ...more »

Dam Efficiency (making use of every available resource)

The following article appeared in a copy of New Scientist awhile back. " HOT ANSWER TO SHAKY PROBLEM To damp down problem vibrations in aircraft, cars, buildings and power tools researchers working for the US army in Virginia have designed a material that dissipates the vibrational energy as heat (US 2005/0073222). The plastic or concrete materials contain particles of piezoelectric ceramic and a web of ...more »

Carryout Fuel Tanks (gradually improving our infrastructure)

One of the problems we're faced with when trying to convert to cars that use hydrogen fuel is a catch-22 kind of thing - people won't buy the cars until they know there are enough gas stations within convenient reach, and gas stations won't add hydrogen fuel pumps until there are enough cars out there to make them profitable. The solution might be to phase them in. Step 1 - Create briefcase-shaped fuel tanks that ...more »

Incentive to Recycle - Rebate

We all know the problem of our own trash, look at New Jersey and other communities that have to bear the burden of dealing with toxic dumps in their backyards. Here is my idea to get more people the recycle. Tax incentives would be given out to those that recycle. For the first year the taxpayer would receive a 5% rebate for recycling the whole year. For each year after the first year the incentive would increase by 1.55% ...more »
