American citizenship or being a citizen of Heaven

If you had a choice between being an American citizen or being a citizen of Heaven, which would you choose? For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; Philippians 3:20 I am choosing being a citizen of Heaven since Obama and his team is taking America straight to world citizenship, and then straight to hell. Citizen of Heaven = Thumbs up Citizen of America ...more »

The Tree of Obama

"You will know a tree by it's fruit." Matthew 7:16 The Obama Tree is a black Oak. The leaves protect the tree from the light of truth. The bark is hard and callus to prevent transparency. The fruit is the ACORN, to reproduce itself again and again. The roots of deception go deep into the American soil. Add labeling requirement to electrical devices

Devices which use electricity sold in the United States ought to be clearly labeled with maximum energy use while being actively used and while sitting idle. This should include all devices, from major appliances to USB peripherals and RAM chips.

E 85 National Security and Possible Health benefits

Encourage E85 and flex fuel, in addition to drilling American oil. Also study the impact on health dietary changes contributed to by rising corn prices could have. We assume corn being a cheap foodstuff is good for the poor, but conscidering the current rate of diabetes and obesity, this is a leap of logic. Might another cheap, subsidized staple food be healthier and free up corn for energy and transportation?? I'm not ...more »

Dam Efficiency (making use of every available resource)

The following article appeared in a copy of New Scientist awhile back. " HOT ANSWER TO SHAKY PROBLEM To damp down problem vibrations in aircraft, cars, buildings and power tools researchers working for the US army in Virginia have designed a material that dissipates the vibrational energy as heat (US 2005/0073222). The plastic or concrete materials contain particles of piezoelectric ceramic and a web of ...more »

Energy Plan

DannyTN's energy plan The bulk of the stimulus should go to finance nuclear plants so that we could convert to hydrogen or battery in the event of another oil price shock. And hydrogen storage tanks, and car conversion kits. And in making both electric and fuel distribution grids more robust and less subject to disruption or terrorist attack. The nuke plants would generate returns that would pay for the financing. ...more »

Energy Independence - A Comprehensive Plan

We need a comprehensive plan to achieve energy independence - a plan that will make this a reality in a few years - not the 10-20 years politicians have been telling us the past 10-20 years. It is going to take all of the Picken's plan, Al Gore's "We" campaign, even "drill here, drill now" needs to be in the mix to make independence happen. Sending almost a trillion dollars overseas every year to meet our energy needs ...more »

Small business / residential energy efficiency

I believe that a combination of tax credits, rebates, low interest start up loans and federal subsidies, and an effort to encourage state and local compliance and cooperation should be used to help small, independent businesses with the goal of improving residential home energy efficiency. Helping residences get up to date weatherization, improve the efficiency of the appliances, perhaps adding solar panels and/or other ...more »

Drill, baby, drill!

Government now owns 2 of the big 3. Each will make smaller, more fuel efficient vehicles. The government is trying to make sure that gas prices keep increasing to make sure those cars are "what Americans want to buy". I'm afraid the fix is already in. But higher fuel prices will hurt the economy, and will hurt the poorest among us the hardest. For the love of God, just let us drill here and drill now to lower ...more »
