Demand Abraham Lincoln's birth certificate

Nobody has ever seen it so he wasn't really president, the south has retroactively won the Civil War and Barack Obama is rightly a slave who should be working in a cotton farm in Virginia.

Special Participants should not be Permitted. Where is 72 hour one?

One idea seems to have disappeared. Since the very idea that any idea is treated differently than any other is repugnant, please return it, and identify any others you felt it was proper to give special treatment.

For this to have any integrity, it must actually have integrity.

New meaning for Getta outta my facea button.

The button should prevent my having to look at the idea again.

That way, all ideas are seen, but need not be seen twice if it is a part of the spam campaign.

Citizenship check for college aid

The Department of Homeland Security must check the citizenship papers of college students so that their college (private) can a give them financial aid. This causes monstrous delays (I work in a university aid office). I don't know who makes the request for citizenship records, the government or the college, but could the government leave the citizenship check to the colleges and universities? There never was a DHS before ...more »

Someone turn off the posts that are making their way into my inbox!

I have reset my profile, more than once, and the comments keep flooding my inbox. Moderators, do something about this, or I will report this site for spamming!!! This is ridiculous! My inbox right now has about 40 to 50 comments, and I've already deleted them all morning.

I wish I could remove one of my ideas.

Is there a way to do that (aside from sending an email to the moderators, which I've already done)?

Save with Buddy Sync of data verses Backups

Backing up data on tapes is old thinking. Choose a buddy system in a separate location and sync the data nightly or in off hours. This process is faster, more secure and easier to recover from if something happens. Yearly or quarterly tapes backups are still and cost effective, but only data that is not expected back should be put on tape for archive. I have implemented this at Chevron saving thousands in the pilot. 10's ...more »

Devils' Advocate

Suggestion: The "Mindmap" and the "Five Transparency Themes" discussions include an accompanying failsafe measure. This "Devils' Advocate" program could operate with similar parameters as the F.B.I. "Flagging" system. History shows that if such a system is not in place at the start of a new program then once completed the new program will have exploitable vulnerabilities. While flow charting the "Mindmap" perhaps we ...more »
