Obama and Gibbs have now both publicly stated that Obama has already released and posted his BC on the Internet, so why won't Obama grant Hawaii permission to release it as well? Trust but verify!

Obama can't produce a 'long form vault Hawaiian birth certificate' because he doesn't have one! He has a CoLB, or 'Certificate of Live Birth', which is not the same thing as a BC and proves nothing except that he was born alive, somewhere. This is because as a new state at the time, Hawaii often issued a CoLB even to foreign born children who were allowed to be brought to Hawaii and registered with the state, provided at least one parent was a legal resident of Hawaii. Even if he did have a real BC, it wouldn't matter since he can not be a 'natural born' citizen unless both his parents are also US citizens. His father is Kenyan.

In fact as the son of a colonial subject of Great Britain, by law British citizenship was conferred upon Obama at birth, irrespective of where he was born. Obama also became a citizen of Indonesia as the legally adapted son of Lolo Soetoro, where he attended a Muslim school strictly limited to only Indonesian citizens. So given the numerous disqualifying eligibility issues, the missing BC is really just an expedient way to demonstrate Obama suspiciously lied about posting his BC when instead he posted an allegedly graphically altered CoLB, which one might expect from an illegal usurper!

Obviously calling onto question the constitutional eligibility of a sitting president is a serious matter, however our president is not above the rule of law. The Constitution is our greatest protection from abusive government. Throughout the history of mankind, political power has frequently been seized irrespective of the will of the governed, often violently. Perhaps owing to our imperfect nature, totalitarianism has more often been the rule, rather than the exception.

Our Constitution as first envisioned and ultimately realized by the benefits of both pen and sword, was founded as a heart felt invention of necessity by men so deathly tired of oppression, that they determined despite any cost, to establish our Constitutional Republic. With the Constitution, our Founding Father's planted a seed in soil richly nourished in blood, that with similar courage United States citizens might forever more be able to exercise their God given inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in at least one free and just nation upon the face of the earth.

Watching the campaign for president it is clear that this birth certificate spoof is an underground smear attempt. Looking back through the generations for some constitutional fragment that somehow will discredit the president, Republicans sure are jealous, they have nothing what so ever to offer but the hole they dig themselves, instead of seriously attending to true issues of governance. In the end all this pathetic slander that spilled out on this site today will only alienate the supposed benefactors of this gross attack. This site is available for the world to see. It is the partners of America; it is America’s allies that will see this attack for what it is. A feeble attack against the President, an attack against a President that brought the ability of open governance and respect for all humanity to the world stage like no other leader before. The 21st century needed to leave disgraceful behaviour in problem solving behind and start behaving like the future generations of citizen’s matter. Today the single phrase wrapped in slander and disrespect demonstrates that the right choice was made on Election Day.

If it is an underground smear attempt, then why has Obama spent over $800,000 to keep his long form BC hidden?

It would cost about $15.00 to produce the original document in question. And you could nip it in the bud by just showing it..

I have to admit that I am an Obama supporter and, grudgingly, I must admit that there is value in seeing a real birth certificate.

No doctors or nurses have surfaced which delivered him.

Kenyans are celebrating their "native son" becoming president, and the "official" COLB on his own website is full of junior high errors.

What can I say?

If I have managed to keep my long form birth certificate for almost 60 years and I must provide it to get a passport, surely it isn't beyond my right to expect that the POTUS should have to provide the same to wield his power over all of us!

I think klingspoon drank some Koolaid. Many like him have been succesfully indoctrinated by the BO propaganda machine. That's what makes this president the most dangerous man to have ever held the office. People are drunk on him and don't look at anthing he does objectively.

The people are speaking. It's an American thing to do. The fix is easy, so what is the big problem. Open the actual records and be vetted per the Constitution like any President past or future must do. Make it end. Yes we can - make it end!!!
