Stop trying to pass excessive agendas such as health care and cap and trade during economic hardships

Why Is This Idea Important?: If these two specific programs were stopped right now we might be able to survive and not burden our children and grandchildren with the deficit the president has bestowed on us with his porkulous bill and budget. This would save trillions of dollars and we could get on our feet again.

Every poll I have ever seen has health care as the very last (about 2% usually) in importance to the American people. I can honestly say I do not want to pay for an illegal alien to go to the emergency room 10 times a week (know for a fact from working in the healthcare field). Also, there are millions of people who do not believe in global warming and scientific data has backed them up on this. For this reason alone there shouldn't be any money going for this project. When the government starts to tax the air you breathe that is when we need to say this is enough.

The only people against assisted health care are republican close minded OUT numbered people.

When and If it happens You'll grow up a little and understand true economics.

A huge amount of people outright can't afford health care. You people are saying... Well screw them let them die!

If they die my tax's won't see a raise. This is why the republican party is falling apart.

Lets let everyone who outright can't afford health care die so your poor wallet can stop being pounded.

I for one have refused to pay 12 dollars a day for health insurance.

The average is between 6-14$ a day for a single person to get insured.

    Use your brain.

  2. there are better methods to keep people healthy. open ended spending is mindless populism. We should reverse the 14 th amendment which was put in place to protect the enslaved who gave birth. They needed to be free citizens not slaves.

Now many from all over the world come to grab a free pass to US citizenship. The public support we give makes us the best target for non us citizens to get the benefit. Who would pick mexico, new zealand or south africa over the USA?

  3. The health care problem can never be accurately repaired during a time of multipule wars/occupations. We need to can the military to be able to aford health reform, anything less will not be a true reform.

Cap and trade is taxation without representation. It is a farce. If the government wants the carbon venders to install more carbon capter programs then pass legislation to do so, this round about way is bogus.

  4. The health care problem is due to too much governmental interferance in health care. More government will only make it worse and there's no place in the Constitution that allows for the federal government to take over health care.

Remember Walter Reed and the problems there?

If you liked that type of care you will love what is coming if we allow the federal government to violate the Constitution and take over health care.

  5. The health care crisis IS a huge contributing factor for our current fiscal crisis. Private insurers get paid by TAXPAYERS to administrate plans. We are subsidizing them and not getting anything in return (except expensive premiums). I pay for the health insurance of my elected officials, government employees, Medicare, and Medicaid recipients among others., yet I myself cannot afford the 10,000/yr to purchase health insurance that will not leave my hind flank exposed if I get sick (and even then I might be exposed, you really NEVER know until you get sick). Now, I think THAT is taxation without representation.
