In Great Britian it has been discovered that the people's representatives have been spending enormous amounts of public money on their own whims and inappropriate expenses.
My Presentatives office, 3rd District Arizona, John Shadegg, tells me to dig thorugh the congressional record to find the general expenditures and that they have no idea (if it is even possible) to find detailed expense reporting data.

We have no idea if long existing budgetary allocations hav been used wisely and my congressman at least will not confirm employee salaries or expenses, period.
