LEGAL immigration - not to be mixed with ILLEGAL immigration

Why Is This Idea Important?: Need to give more importance to "law". Guys who obey "law" has to be treated separately from the guys who broke the "law". Employment based immigration is extremely important to solve the current economic issues of USA. EB category employees are very capable economically and if they start leaving US, it will impact US economy really bad.

There are many issues with legal immigration, which are very simple issues, and can be solved with very acceptable policy changes. But these changes doesnt happen often because they are mixed with issues of "illegal" immigration. (CIR attempts in last few years).

Illegal immigration is a very hot topic, and there are strong arguments from both sides.

So CIR is a good thing. But please please.... separate out the "legal" immigration issues and try to solve them separately. Issues of "legal" immigration can be solved easily out of "comprehensive immigration reform".

  1. Sorry, but the politicians the be want to keep the issue mixed since they are not going to enforce the immigration laws anyway.

My comments come from everything I have sen and experienced for 25 years and my kids and grand kids are part mexican...I lived on 26 th st in Chicago for years and truth....even if it's truth you may not have seen or disagree with is NOT racist.....

In this country one of the things we should notb have to take for granted is our 1st ammendment right....Hearing something you disagree with is something you have to live with in a democratic society....I speak the truth.................By the way ..what was so racist?? Dis liking that people are taking advantage or possibly causing social problems is not racist....It is actually factual......I know what real racism is having mixed blood and mixed blood kids....Catching someone in your yard and taking a baseball bat ti him to protect your family because threats have been made against your family ..........only to hev the house burn a few months later .....is the victim of racism......My comments were no where near racist...Americans have the right to voice their opinions concerning issues that affect them.......

you do have a right to freedom of speech. I completely agree. But you do not have that right if your rhetoric incites acts of violence of discrimination against someone else. Your rights are valid so long as they don't infringe on the rights of somebody else. Your language spoke of a person who has deep resentment towards a group of people and you justify your sentiments using stereotypes. Some people may conclude that those stereotypes had racist underlinings. I wish you the best.
