Is this really open dialogue??

Why Is This Idea Important?: It holds the Constitution as the law of the land.

I feel that if the President wants to add transparency to his administration, and this was one of his campaign promises, he should start with himself. Please Mr. Obama, if you love this country and respect its constitution, you will immediately release your long form birth certificate to put to rest the questions about your elegibility to serve in this esteemed office. Until it is released, until the lawyers/dogs are called off, Americans can only assume you have something to hide. What do you have to hide? End the controversy, and if that is not possible, step down and let this country recover from the biggest fraud in modern times.

A Proud American,

  2. There is need for the citizenry to have faith and trust in their leader. Our leaders, in order to be perceived as trustworthy should not fear transparent, least of all transparency concerning an official birth certificate.

It is necessary for me to produce my official birth certificate to the DOJ in order to obtain a passport -- simply because I want to sail off on a cruise ship and go sight seeing for a couple of days. I am not go on a cruise with the purpose of affecting the education system, international affairs, to nominate individuals to the SCOTUS, or attempt to fix the US economy!

Mr. Obama, only last week, unabashedly stated last that we proceed with his plan on shutting down Gismo on the basis of the rule of law.

Dear Mr. Obama, on the basis of the rule of law, please will you produce the legally required documentation that verifies your qualification to sit in the Oval Office. It's the same one that I needed to get my passport so I could take a cruise. Thank you for your promptness in producing the requested document and not another.

As long as we are on the subject of transparency, I read an online article that made some interesting allegations against you. It appeared in the article that your staff did not want to provide a direct answer, and gave one of those politico-speak specifically vague non-answers. Now, I don't believe everything I read, preferring to go to the original source to verify information. Since you are the original source, please will you be transparent on the following matter? Many have read the following online article:

"A 2007 Associated Press photograph, suppressed until now, shows the school register of the child who is today known as Barack Hussein Obama but was officially listed then as Barry Soetoro, whose citizenship was listed as 'Indonesian' and whose religion was listed as 'Islam.’ The visual evidence starkly contradicts the Obama campaign's claim that he was not a Muslim and confirms that he is a national of at least one other country.

    ...

“In addition, it raises the highly problematic issue of what is Obama's official name. If it turns out to Barry Soetoro, and no official change of name was ever made, Obama may face an array of charges of deception and misprision that may throw into doubt, at the very least, his fitness to run. " ( http://web.israelinsider.com/Articles/Politics/13056.htm ).

#1: Under what name were you actually registered when attending school in Indonesia? Since you deal in transparency, a copy of your registration at this school will immediately quell the allegations that your name was at one time Barry Soetoro.

#2: On the off chance that the image in this article is official, please will you produce your birth certificate under that name? This will result in the silencing of critics who believe that you may not meet the qualifications to serve in your current position.

I so look forward to your leading by example rather than rhetoric. This will instill trust in your leadership. Thanks much!

  4. Post gone? You're not alone. Try posting a complaint like this and see how long it stays up!

Dear Mr. President, or who ever you may happen to be:

Recently I've submitting posts on your presidential website promoting open government dialogue, which have suspiciously and quickly disappeared due to censorship in violation of the Constitutional right to Freedom of Speech. Given that, like your Kenyan father, you may also be foreign born and in any event are certainly not a 'natural born' US citizen eligible to serve as President, I fully understand your reluctance to have the truth displayed on your own website for God and all good Americans to see. However Sir, as President you must stop your blatant obvious censorship, it's simply embarrassing. Although I do have to say the irony is spectacular, wouldn't you agree?

Mr. President you did take an oath to support and defend the Constitution, botched though it was, so please stop censoring posts to your own website from citizens who simply wish to take you up on your offer to suggest ways to improve government transparency, such as having you release your American vault long form birth certificate, if you have one.

According to an article in WorldNetDaily today, that is tracking your censorship of hundreds of posts, your website says you operate a moderation policy "to ensure that comments are appropriate and not harmful to others." Apparently that includes your residence remaining the White House as opposed to Leavenworth, huh?

It is stated that comments on the Open Government website may be deleted if they include the following:

    1. Threats or incitements to violence.

    2. Obscenity.

    3. Duplicate posts.

    4. Posts revealing your own or others' sensitive/ personal information (e.g., Social Security numbers).

    5. Information posted in violation of law, including libel, condoning or encouraging illegal activity, revealing classified information, or comments which might affect the outcome of ongoing legal proceedings. (Another interesting choice of words.)

"Moreover, while we invite open participation and diverse viewpoints to be shared, the main goal of this dialogue is to answer the overarching question: How can we strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and effectiveness by making government more transparent, participatory, and collaborative?"

Well, that's certainly a great question. How about you stop censoring citizens such as myself, who have fully complied with the rules of your site. That would be a great start!

One might wonder if deleting only those posts supposedly not conforming with your rules, the majority of which also happen to be excruciatingly, accurately and justifiably critical of you, is more likely a frivolous pretense to prevent the truth from being disseminated to citizens. No matter how tyrannically useful your policy of censorship is, in my humble estimation, openly violating the Constitution in total disregard for the rights of the citizens, should be a penultimate no-no, on a par with telling the starving masses to 'eat cake'. Censorship in direct violation of our Constitutional rights should never be tolerated, and especially not by one who's very duty and sworn obligation as entrusted to you by the citizens, is above all else to support and defend our Constitution.

Despite the freedom strangling selection criteria being used for the vast majority of the posts you have deleted, one would think that the President of the United States might be a staunch advocate of our inalienable constitutional rights, if for no other reason than selfishly enhancing your prospect for another term. Mr. President, you should be ashamed of the sad inescapable irony that by your censorship, the freedom of speech which you deprived hundreds of citizens of who submitted posts, as well as every American who has a right to read the posts, is a sacred liberty that, as a veteran, I was willing to risk my life to support and defend on your behalf.

In your zeal to derive the full benefit of the freedom you disdainfully take for granted, but paradoxically are also contemptuously willing to disabuse from others who might effectively express politically disagreeable contrasting points of view in opposition to your beloved Marxism or even dare espouse respect for our Constitution, you show no care for the preservation of freedom or our nation. Obviously nor do you have any appreciation of the sacrifices made by those who paid the price of your freedom for you.

Embracing political censorship is tantamount to tearing up our Constitution. Perhaps worst of all, along with removing each post I've submitted, Mr. President by also deleting every one of the comments submitted by citizens who trusted you to honor their Constitutional rights, you're openly admitting you have something very dire to hide, rather than mitigating as you may have hoped by you deceit, any of your so richly deserved dishonor.

    In defense of the Constitution,
