OpenGov - Open Government Brainstorm

CORRUPTION! There is so much worldwide it frustrates me. Probably everyone feels the same way. But then I thought, if we arrested everyone who was ever dishonest in any way..who would be left? and..everyone before them were doing the same thing and made it look like deals under the table were just part of the game. I know that this is no excuse..so I prayed for answers and I believe in this.....we can not move forward if we live in the past/we can heal our wounds more easily by appologizing for mistakes instead of worrying about how our pride looks and/or pointing fingers..and what if....what if every one of us are just a peice to a puzzle, what if everything on this planet, the cries, the corruption was all on purpose,what if God or Allah..allowed it.. so we could see where we never want to go again, so we could LEARN? HOW...to make every day better..than the last?! What if God put us through all of these trials so we could learn how to swim and keep our heads above water? ...like, "one cannot learn how to swim until he is thrown into water" ..something to certainly consider. I have been pleased so far with how our new administration is doing in regards to so many corruption problems. I can see some light now at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully we have learned alot from past mistakes...and won't repeat them again.

We have had too many decades of self-serving lifetime careerist members of Congress (both parties, both chambers) who have been setting their own Pay, Perks, and Pensions (and Pork, Big Time), and who have legalized their own bribery as they accept arm loads of cash from armies of lobbyists, then obediently deliver their votes as purchased.

If we did this 90% of the government would end up in prison. Good idea though.

This is the job of the free press and you as a voter/citizen.

Lie detectors are easily fooled and inaccurate.

Voting down as "already implemented" and "not a valid fix".
