Executive Pay

Why Is This Idea Important?: This will force executives to think about the long-term health of their companies rather than the fast buck. That's got to be good for both the company and the country.

Most executive pay is by stock options and stock grants. This is fine and should be encouraged, but these stock options and grants need a condition placed on them. Specifically, they should not be negotiable until at least five years after the executive has left the company employment.
