This is one of the biggest tools around to successfully fight illegal immigration. Basically it's an internet based system operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in partnership with the Social Security Administration (SSA) that allows participating employers to electronically verify the employment eligibility of their newly hired employees. Dozens of states have already made it the law to use this system when hiring new employees. If Illegals have less access to jobs in the U.S. less will spill over the borders. But sadly the Democrats in Washington are pushing for this bill to expire. It must be kept in use.
Don't let E-Verify expire. We need it to fight illegal immigration.
