  3. It's time to realize we have a president who is not white and celebrate THAT fact. White people came here and took the land from the native Americans and then they went to Africa and brought slaves here, some whom helped build the house that President Obama now lives in. Let's celebrate the fact that the racists weren't able to keep Obama from becoming the first black president.

  8. The majority is quickly diminishing. Just because there are more of us, we can't celebrate our heritage? Why can everyone else celebrate, but if we even mention something of the sort, we are immediately labeled racist. Everyone loves to hate white people for some reason.

  9. If we have a day to celebrate whites (as we celebrate whites) perhaps some of the anti-white racism exposed in the comment here might dwindle. It is time for "liberals" to stop blaming whites for everything. Anti-white racism must be stopped.

  11. all people and all cultures should be celebrated. this is valid, whether the site moderator agrees or not. (since you said this was deleted before)

i just feel like we are told to put down our culture and beliefs because we aren't "special" or because we didn't suffer like others have. Which is bull- all humanity has endured it's struggles, its descrimination, etc over the course of history.

There has been an attempt by RWers to smear our founders (Lincoln is allowed since he was a Republican). No politican today has done as much as they for so little.

  14. Yeah.. there is the afro american fund.. all blacks.. and all black schools, and all black television channels... We should be allowed to have all white schools, all white college funds and all white television... My point is, until people stop playing the minority vs the majority game here there will always be hate.. We are as a white culture a minority now.. look at all the mexicans running around for god sake.. they are not a minority, and neither are the blacks... I got unemployed needed dental assistence, I wasnt allowed to get it because i was an illegal alien, and because I was a white male.. that is what DHS told me.. this was a few years back.. We have a right to be proud of our skin color, our heritage just as much as anyone else..

  16. The need to honestly celebrate whites and males and those who are not homosexuals becomes apparent as you read comments that will be posted here.

It is clear that many people in the USA have reached the point where they feel it is wrong to ever say anything good about white people, males or those who are not homosexuals.

  17. Everyone complaining about the poor white people not having their own "day" or schools or whatever, we've had ALL the power since we GOT here! Don't you understand that? The white man wasn't brought here from another continent and treated worse than animals through slavery and then outright, legal discrimination, and then more subtle but still widespread discrimination. Please spare me the outrage.

  22. Seriously, my concerns are:

    (1) Celebrating a group that many regard as a privileged majority could be offensive to those who believe, right or wrong, that they have been oppressed by that majority.

    (2) It reeks of Aryan supremacy. Some racist white people might interpret this day as an excuse to do racist things such as committing hate crimes.

    (3) Unlike celebrations of less-privileged groups, I think it would increase tensions between different groups of people, instead of promoting awareness and understanding.

I'm white but I don't want a day to celebrate my skin color, sorry.

White men were always superior by law and even now, black people are treated unfairly even though they have "equal rights." How often do white people get stopped by the cops for "driving while white"? How often do white people get followed in expensive stores or get denied an apt. in certain neighborhoods or told a job isn't available? You really have no clue.

Stop blaming whites for slavery... our goods were more valuable than the human bodies the tribes possessed. That's why they were considered property.

Stop acting like we came over on boats and raided villages taking whoever we could grab.

The National White Persons Day should celebrate the fact that we liberated blacks from the oppression and slavery of their own people.

Young white kid... nice car...bad neighborhood... hip hop music... MUST BE DEALING DRUGS.

It happens to all races... you'll find that if you put yourself in the situation your going to get profiled. Spend your time in the library and I bet you don't get hassled by the cops.

  46. Yes, we whites can take credit for the good the bad and the ugly of the past. Mostly what we did was done with good intentions or at the time was the norm and acceptable.I for one do not apologize for anything we did. If you think we should feel bad about anything we did go fly a kite. We did what we did, that is in the past. We have evolved to the point where we let minorities dictate how we should think and feel.

Within the next generation we will be a minority and will have access to all the entitlements minority have now... Yeah. This country will be predominantly Hispanic by then.

As far as all black schools go I thought we ended segragation years ago!!! How does any race get away w/ all black, white, hispanic or any other race schools. The white people today had nothing to do with slavery. No black person alive today (unless he is a true African, who may have been a slave) is a victim of slavery. To claim that present day blacks born in the USA are victims of slavery, is very dishonest or an outright lie. So take your lies somewhere else. You are coming off as a very naive, close minded bigoted, who is very uneducated in history and world events. But then you are an obama supporter, and he attracts the dumb idiots like yourself.

  49. Obama: Destroy 'the white enemy'

'If God is not for us and against whites ... we had better kill him'

Rev. Jeremiah Wright in interview last year on 'Hannity and Colmes'

Barack Obama's suddenly radioactive pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, has defended himself against charges of anti-Americanism and racism by referring to his foundational philosophy, the "black liberation theology" of scholars such as James Cone, who regard Jesus Christ as a "black messiah" and blacks as "the chosen people" who will only accept a god who assists their aim of destroying the "white enemy."

"If God is not for us and against white people," writes Cone, "then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill gods who do not belong to the black community."

Wright has not talked to media since video segments of his sermons over the past decade surfaced last week – including one in 2003 in which he encouraged blacks to damn America in God's name. But in a 2007 interview replayed on the Fox News Channel's "Hannity and Colmes" show Friday, he repeatedly fended off Sean Hannity's questions with an appeal to authority, asking if the host had read any of the books of Cone, professor at New York's Union Theological Seminary, or Dwight Hopkins, professor at the University of Chicago's Divinity School, notes the Asia Times columnist who writes under the pseudonym Spengler."

Obama, who has spoken of his pastor of more than 20 years as his mentor and moral compass, "wants to talk about what Wright is, rather than what he says," notes Spengler, by referring him as a "respected biblical scholar, and as someone who taught or lectured at seminaries across the country, from Union Theological Seminary to the University of Chicago."

But Spengler says "that way lies apolitical quicksand."

Cone, he points out, was the most prominent theologian in the "black liberation" school in the 1960s, teaching that Jesus Christ himself is black.

    The theologian explains:

Christ is black therefore not because of some cultural or psychological need of black people, but because and only because Christ really enters into our world where the poor were despised and the black are, disclosing that he is with them enduring humiliation and pain and transforming oppressed slaves into liberating servants.

Rather than viewing God as a sovereign being who does as he wills according to his purposes, Cone insists God must do what we want him to do, or we must reject him.

What the black community wants, Cone says, is for God to assist in its goal of destroying "the white enemy."

Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill gods who do not belong to the black community

... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.

    'I reject outright'

As WND reported yesterday, Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago has removed from the "About Us" page of its website a section outlining its radical belief system for blacks.

Obama issued a statement Friday referring to the taped statements from sermons, saying he strongly condemned and denounced "some inflammatory and appalling remarks [Wright] made about our country, our politics, and my political opponents."

Despite having been at the church for two decades, Obama said he was not in attendance when Wright made any of the statements and never heard such talk in private conversations.

"Let me say at the outset that I vehemently disagree and strongly condemn the statements that have been the subject of this controversy," Obama said. "I categorically denounce any statement that disparages our great country or serves to divide us from our allies. I also believe that words that degrade individuals have no place in our public dialogue, whether it's on the campaign stump or in the pulpit. In sum, I reject outright the statements by Rev. Wright that are at issue."

Late Friday, Wright stepped down from his formal role in Obama's campaign, as a member of his African American Religious Leadership Committee.

    Stamp of approval

Spengler pointed out that in his response to Hannity, Wright "genuinely seemed to believe that the authority of Cone and Hopkins, who now hold important posts at liberal theological seminaries, was sufficient to make the issue go away."

"His faith in the white establishment is touching; he honestly cannot understand why the white reporters at Fox News are bothering him when the University of Chicago and the Union Theological Seminary have put their stamp of approval on black liberation theology," Spengler says.

It's possible, Spengler continues, that Obama "does not believe a word of what Wright, Cone and Hopkins teach."

"Perhaps he merely used the Trinity United Church of Christ as a political stepping-stone," he writes. "African-American political life is centered around churches, and his election to the Illinois state Senate with the support of Chicago's black political machine required church membership. Trinity United happens to be Chicago's largest and most politically active black church."

It seems unlikely Obama would identify with the ideological fits of the black-power movement of the 1960s," Spengler says.

"Obama does not come to the matter with the perspective of an American black, but of the child of a left-wing anthropologist raised in the Third World. ... It is possible that because of the Wright affair Obama will suffer for what he pretended to be, rather than for what he really is."

Raff-Hannity, WorldNutDaily, racists, too. Rev. Wright fought for our country-for WHITE people as well as black people. "Wright served in the U.S. Marines (1961-63), finished U.S. Navy corpsman's school in 1963, and was a cardiopulmonary technician at the U.S. Navy Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland (1963-67), where he served on a medical team attending to President Lyndon Johnson." http://www.answers.com/topic/jeremiah-wright

  52. Zeriam-Wright is NOT racist. He would NOT have fought and put his life on the line for this country if he didn't love it and the people in it. All he wanted was an end of white hatred towards him and other black people. And even though I'M white, I recognize the continued yet subtle racism TODAY of white people against black and brown people. Sorry, but we've always been superior in the eyes of the law-first officially/legally, and now unofficially. Just the fact that some people don't want to believe Obama is an American shows how in denial some are.

Zeriam, I find your comments offensive because I would like to think most white people are honest enough and good enough to admit that we as a predominantly white society have done and are still doing some bad things.

The idea of "white people celebration day" seems to bring out the worst in people, as evidenced by some of the comments above, and that's why I don't support it.

  56. It was our own black massas in Africa that sold black slaves to Jews, whites, and some black owners... so you better put the blame where it really belongs. There is good and bad in every group. 6 Jews started the NAACP not whites, not black... they were JEWS. And I am ashamed to have King as a role model for blacks, he was a liar, thief, sneak, filthy whore monger and drug user, nice role model, huh? Whites celebrating anything white brings out rage in people (even white) because they have been trained like puppies to reject themselves, can you imagine that? The ones that feel good about themselves are labeled racists.... sick if you as me. Everyone should embrace who and what they are NO MATTER what they are.

American born blacks cannot use slavery as an issue of why their culture is self destructing.

No American born white today had any involvment with the practice of slavery in America. So jenmito, you are a very close minded ignorant bigot to even think that present day American born blacks are the victims of slavery.

  66. Riffraff-I never said any Americans today had any involvement with slavery. I said it HAPPENED and not all THAT long ago. Black people have great-grandparents who were slaves. White people have great-grandparents who owned slaves. And yet it is white people who are threatened by black people unjustifiably.

Wright is not a bigot. He's mad about the old days. And Obama is the farthest thing from a bigot/racist you can be. He is white and black. He has the interest of ALL people in mind. 68. Jenmito.

Present day American born blacks, are not African America. African countries would not accept American born blacks in their countries, Africans consider American born blacks, lazy and destructive. Present day blacks are not victims of slavery, just as present day whites have/had anything to do with slavery. The number of people who actually owned slaves was very small. And blacks as well as indians and whites owned slaves in America's past. Your knowledge of American history is really lacking, But then ignorance is what makes you such an intolerant bigot. Just like obama and wright are both intolerant bigots. wright was not a very good Marine, while he was in the service, he was just another racist black ahole with an attitude. Blacks have made their own hell in America, mostly from listening to democrats like clinton and obama, who have keep them in bondage to the government, hence the blacks are still slaves in America, this time it is the democrats and liberals who are their masters.

  70. Poor intolerant small minded jenmito. Displays her ignorance on American history, and calls other people garbage. Can you see her intolerance and close minded views. This is what makes her the perfect liberal/democrat. Her intolerance is astounding, and her blisful ignorance is amazing.

But then she is an obama follower, just as Germans blindly followed hitler, misguided and ignorant Americans follow obama. Now are small minded little bigot, go cry to obama and your leftist masters, as it is obvious you cannot think for yourself

  72. There are Obama supporters posting here who are anti-white racists.

These ignorant anti-white racists can be recognized by their inability to control themselves.

Post anything positive about white people - or just simply post that anti-white racism is unacceptable - and the Obama anti-white racists will rush to attack you.

One good thing about the Obama presidency is that it has brought these ignorant anti-white racists out of the woodwork. The anti-white racists feel more empowered these days and it is good to see them expose themselves.

Poor white people who are afraid of the first president of color. I'm glad there weren't enough of you to keep him from losing the election. Deal with it. That's all you can do. I love it. :D

  75. Wow-you googled my name! And you link to a post at the DU that shows my 26th email that got read on the air by Jack Cafferty on CNN! I hope you're impressed! But I think it proves that I'm an Obama supporter-not "lover." For anyone who doesn't want to trouble themselves with going to the site, I'll show you what it said:

I had another email (26th) read by Cafferty on CNN yesterday

The question was, "How can President Obama make the most of his speech to the Muslim world in Cairo, Egypt?"

    Jack read:

"Jenny from Nanuet, New York writes:

Just going there to give a speech is a great gesture. It’s yet another sign that Obama sees Muslims as human beings and not as targets. Showing them his outstretched hand puts the onus on them to accept it."

  78. WHY????

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.

You call me "Whiteboy", "Cracker", "Honkey",

"Whitey" and you think it's OK.

But when I call you, nigger, greaser, spic, beaner, or spade, you call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

    You have Miss Black America.

You have the United Negro College Fund.

You have Martin Luther King Day.

    You have Black History Month.

    You have Cesar Chavez Day.

    You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi

    You have the NAACP.

    You have BET.

If we had WET (White Entertainment Television) we'd be racists.

If we had a White Pride Day you would call us racists.

If we had Miss White America, you would call us racists.

If we had White History Month, you would call us racists.

If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives, you would call us racists.

If we had a college fund that gave only white students scholarships, you would call us racists

There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US , yet if there were "White colleges" you would call us racists.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us.

But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

I am proud, but, you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists??

  79. Wow-what a post. Shows a TOTAL lack of understanding.

First of all, I'm white (as are many others who disagree with your position).

Secondly, we are and have always been in the MAJORITY here in the U.S. after we took the land from the Native Americans. You obviously don't understand that those who have ruled this country are not in any position to do all those things listed as it was the law of the land to NATURALLY have those things.

Other races have their own things to try to build themselves up to try to be seen as EQUAL to us and to FEEL equal to us. Don't you remember the study where black kids were asked to pick the doll that they liked best and they always picked the white one? They updated the test in 2005 and the results were the same. Why don't you read this?:

"Why Black Girls Still Prefer White Dolls"

  80. msgnewman excellent points, and I AM BLACK, are you going to call me a racist too jenmito? Also, don't forget that over 80% of white women raped, are raped by black males. That is a staggering statistic. The DOJ even wants to stop publicly reporting these crimes because blacks commit most of it. [more cover-ups] I am so humiliated at times I wish I could peel my skin off. Blacks are 50 times more likely to attack whites than vice-versa. It has gotten so bad that mainstream news now does not even include the fact the perp is black, of course with a name like Shaniquwa or Leroy one only has to assume. Jenmito you should be like me and do something for our people, maybe in education?

  81. jenmito.

You claim to be white, well from your posts, that is highly suspect.

As it is, just as no white person today is responsible or accountable for slavery from American history, no white person today is responsible for what happened to the native Americans (Indians), in this country.

Your posts indicate that you are a very bigoted and racist person, who despises the white people, and wish to blame them for every wrong in the world.

It is your racism, and the racism from obama that keeps racism alive in America. Face it obama is a racist, and he is a domestic threat to America. Those that support and follow obama are the enemy, and need to be taken to task for their attack against America.

  82. Forbidden-And all of the made-up rapes and crimes are committed by made-up black men. It just happened about a week ago when a woman claimed two black men took her and her daughter and stuffed them in their trunk. Why is it always that when people, almost always white women, make up stories it always involved black men?

I don't know what your post has to do with the subject at hand, really.

I was a teacher in the nearly all-black high school where I went to high school. So thanks for the advice.

  83. jenmito,

You have your facts mixed up with urban legends.

I'm a retired US Army sergeant, I served this country for 23 years and while I did grow up in the south what you hear isn't the truth. I had black friends even though I had people tell me it just wasn't done. I srved with some very brave and courageous men aand my best friend is an AMERICAN black man (he refuses to say African-American). We served together for nearly 2 years in Vietnam. That man, no descriptive adjective needed, saved my life and I got the opportunity later on to save his. The only person I would trust completely going up against people with evil intentions is him.

Is there prejudice in this world? You better believe it, but don't you DARE tell me anything about understanding. You are nothing less than a talking propaganda head! I have lived it, from the time I spent in the service and now. You are probably, as we used to say in the service, so young that "you're still wet behind the ears.

I'll sign off with this: For those who have never fought and bled for it, freedom will NEVER taste as good as it does for those of us who did. However much I may disagree with you, I will fight to my last breath for your right to say it. Think about this before you condemn me. It is better to be thought of as a fool than to open your mouth and remove ALL doubt.

    My motto is:

    Pray about everything,

    Worry about nothing, and

    Thank God for anything

    I'll be praying for you.....

  84. msg-I guess the study with the white and black dolls was an urban legend, too, huh? Having served in the military, I'm sure you have respect for Rev. Wright who ALSO fought for this country, right? And you don't think he'd fight for this country if he hated it, right?

I've lived through racism. I was engaged to a black guy years ago and saw it back THEN. And now I have black brother and sister-in-laws and have seen MORE racism.

It's a joke to claim white people should be THANKED for slavery and that black people should just "get over it" and that white people should have "white celebration day" or whatever. Black people are still discriminated against. Period.

  86. Forbidden-My post about urban legends was not to you. You CAN read, at least minimally, since you're here. But your comprehension skills are lacking.

My post to you was stating a fact that whenever crimes are made up, the white person almost ALWAYS claims it was a black man who committed the crime. And that's because discrimination still exists and white people are still superior in our society. Some of us don't have that superior attitude-that attitude of entitlement-but many still do as shown by the posts on this board.

  87. I can't comment on how true that is or is not, (I do however know for a fact that plenty of my own blacks claim whitey did this or that when in fact nothing took place or it was exaggerated. There have been a very few percentage wise either way, also note that the recent Jew girl who painted swastikas on her own dorm room was NOT white, she was Jew and did it solely to frame white type supremacists. I would like to see the statisctics.... and what about the Duke University lacrosse players were accused of raping a black stripper... didn't happen.... so I think these stats of false accusations are probably on an even playing level where-as in 2005 37,460 rapes of White Women by black men — Black women raped by White men — 0, yes ZERO. So we need to use all the known data and put it side by side.

You of course NEVER directly addressed what is said, thats called "circular logic". You state a position and defend it until it is no longer defensible and change to another position on something totally different or attack with ad homnem attacks. Racist, racist and on and on ad nauseum.

Most people want to stop a debate because they can not defend their position. I'm not ready to stop. Are you ready to continue your defense of the indefensible?????

  91. Martin luther King was a human being with the same weaknesses and tempptations we all have. He did say something that I remember very clearly and always try to apply it in my dealings with people. I'm paraphrasing it.

"Judge a man by the content of his CHARACTER and not by the color of his skin."

In my 2 plus decades in the military and since I retired I basically judge a man by his performance, has he done the job he was hired to do, if he makes a mistake, did he stand on his own two feet, admit that he made a mistake and accept the consequences?

I do not accept excuses, I accept reasons. I have made mistakes and I took responsibility for them and yes there were consequences. I dealt with, I didn't point fingers at anyone or anything. I didn't try to shift the blame.

I expected the same sense of responsibility from my six children.

Too many people today don't have a good sense of right and wrong and instead try to use moral relativism.

It is NOT your environment, it is NOT other people holding you down, it IS the person looking back at you from the mirror that you need to blame, and change if you want to better yourself.

Any man who wants something he never had will have to do something that he has never done!

  92. jenmito,

This is what I told my children nearly every day when they were growing up and they have done pretty good for themselves.

"Life is a continuous series of choices. EVERY choice that you make will have consequences, some good and some bad. Every choice you make will either open new doors of opportunity or close them. Choices made in anger or motivated by selfishness, greed, envy, hatred or jealousy nearly always close doors. You should never make a choice until you have taken time and weighed the probable consequences that will occur. If you make a bad choice, always ask yourself; What did I learn. The definition of stupidity is to keep making the same choice and expecting different results."

  93. I don't know when this turned into a thread about crime statistics. It's not. It's "Celebrate White People" and whenever I asked anyone what/how they'd like to celebrate, they don't respond or change the subject. You guys said celebrating your "white heritage" would automatically make you racist. I pointed out we have St. Patrick's Day, Columbus Day, etc., and asked what you consider "white heritage." Both my parents are Jewish. My mother was born in England and my father was born here in America and HIS parents were born in Poland and Russia. We celebrated Hanukkah. We wore green on St. Patrick's Day because "everybody's Irish" on that day. That's what we feel like doing so that's what we do. What else do you suggest I celebrate? And why should I celebrate my "whiteness" when I've had advantages all my life just for being white? What do YOU people want to celebrate and how? Don't we have enough holidays? That's the topic of this thread.

  95. jenmito,

I'm not in favor of "color" celebrations. I'm in favor of American celebrations. There are people of all races who are citizens of the USA, why can't the celebration be one about the "melting pot" that was supposed to be what America is about. Instead we have all these so-called "cultural" celebrations. I call them tribal celebrations because it all seems to be about the color of your skin. I'm an AMERICAN!

How American? I have Navajo Indian, French, German, Scottish and Spanish in my family. My great grandfather was scalped by Comanches. My earliest relative on my mothers side came to America in 1759. MY fathers side of the family can trace theirs all the way back to John Hancock, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. I refuse to put a specific race when asked because I'm one of those "Hienz 57" varieties with no pedigree.

I think I've answered your "open" question.

  97. jenmito,

I believe we ought to do away with ALL "tribal" celebrations. No Black History Month, no Cinco de Mayo, none of it, because I believe it is divisive and doesn't promote all of us coming togather as AMERICANS. We should be focusing on what makes America better for everyone and stop all the cultural whining. Everyone should be proud of their heritage and prouder to be an American.

For those whose immediate reaction is to start talking about all the negatives, I'll respond before you get on your soapbox. Name a single country that has done something negative? Countries are just like people, we are human and we make mistakes. If you keep looking at the past you are gonna trip and fall. We need to learn from our mistakes and try to do better.

Don't tell me that I have held anybody back because I'm considered white. No one in my family ever owned anybody. Were the Native Americans mistreated? YES! But we need to focus on now. We need to do not whats best for me, me, me. We need to do what is best for the USA as a whole. The USA is NOT a democracy, it was founded as a republic. Democracies do not last because when a majority finds out they can vote for handouts that will be the end of it. Study your US history, not the crap that is talked about in our so-called public schools, and it will open your eyes.
