There is also a copy of an announcement in the Hawaii paper which in 1961 confirms his birth in Honolulu. Also Judge Surrick's 34 page rejection of Phillip Bergs lawsuit about the purportedly missing birth certificate, is provided. Judge Surrick stated that Berg's claims "ventured into the unreasonable."

There definitely are services that government should pay for. Where we have to be careful is 'why'? I see too many people claiming that various government expenditures, such as for education and healthcare and welfare, are 'rights'. That's ridiculous. The services of others should not, and cannot, in a free society, be considered 'rights'.

I'll humbly suggest the following concept: The Government is Us. I think it's sensible for all of us to pay a little so that health care is NOT a for-profit industry like, say, automobiles. Whether you want to call health care a right or not, it's certainly something from which we should remove profit driven corporations. Why should a man like William McGuire, of United Health Care, be paid 1.7 billion (yes, billion) dollars from our health dollars, when for less money than we're currently paying we can all have full coverage, with our favorite doctors, never to be denied for pre-existing conditions? If WE the PEOPLE chose to do that, then government is actually US taking loving care of ourselves. Too many people have allowed themselves to be convinced there is something intrinsically evil about government. But government is US, and if we chose to do something like create single payer health care which all can afford, for much less than we're collectively paying now, then why wouldn't a reasonable country do that? Most other countries have beat us to the punch, and they are doing just fine, thank you. If the wealthy want to have their own private, for-profit insurance, fine. Let them.
