Ban users who call for OBAMA to show birth certificate from site.

Why Is This Idea Important?: This wingnut fringe should not be permitted to extinguish a valuable dialogue through sheer repetition of a fringe position. I believe strongly in many positions, but I have the restraint to act like an adult and post my idea once…and let the chips fall where they may. If these knuckleheads can’t restrain themselves then we need to do it for them.

We, the users of this site have been abused by endless posts calling for Obama to show his birth Certificate. One post calling for this will do.

If you support that, then vote and be done with it on ONE POST. Leave comments if you must. But to clutter this site with endless repeats of ANY post for ANYTHING is to abuse all the users of this site.

The fact is most of us don't care what you have to say. More people voted for Obama than any president in history. This story has been debunked, thoroughly by independent non-partisan sources.

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html

We should not have to wade through 50 of the same ridiculous post when one will suffice. Anybody who deliberately sets out to waste the time of people on this site who are sincerely trying to have a dialogue on ways to make government better needs to have the privilege of partaking in this process taken away.

  1. Why would you BAN such users when YOU YOURSELF thanked them for posting the question? Heck, you thanked them over and over and over again. What are you afraid of luvwith?

None of your links show a birth certificate: You know that, right?

  2. it is increasingly obvious the people who run this site have no real interest in transparency or anything of the like.

it is obvious based on sheer volume of people asking this is a Huge issue. to Americans. to ban users who disagree with you and your opinion only proves the point you are so in denial of. the left could care less about fair play.

ban us all We will not stop! what will happen is we will form a new site that does not Censor people.

  3. What is illustrates best is this person's repeated comments, copied and pasted over and over again, thanking us for supposedly hurting ourselves over this issue, and THEN asking that we all would be banned for hurting ourselves.

    Huh?

That makes no sense. Seems this person is uncomfortable with the request for a real birth certificate after all.

    Very illuminating indeed.

  4. I thought this board was for Open Dialog with our Government? The posts will keep up until Obama or someone in our government actually looks into the matter.

Maybe you don’t care about this country but I for one do and do believe in the Constitution. To make a statement saying that most people don’t care is completely false.

As far as your statement about this story being debunked is FALSE. The websites you quoted are inaccurate.

Why does Obama continue to spend the kind of money he has and still hides behind attorney’s to block any access to his long form birth certificate, his school records and his originally passport information?

These questions will not go away…….

  8. luvwith, all the spam in the world isn't going to help you because you can't answer the simplest question: Where is the birth certificate and why won't Obama show it?

If you continue to post and repost the same drivel I will report you for a violation of the terms of use.

This seems to prove you haven't read through 50 posts (more like 200)because you would know that the "proofs" you have referred to are false, and not proof of anything.

  15. You should check your facts from another source. Try this one: http://theobamafile.com/ The United States Library of Congress has selected TheObamaFile.com for inclusion in its historic collection of Internet materials

Obama has not released his birth certificate, his college records or any other documents to prove he is a Natural born citizen as required by the Constitution to be President. Even the State of Hawaii does not accept the documents that Faxtcheck.Org posted as proof of idenity.

  16. I'm beginning to understand what you mean when you say the right is unwilling to compromise...

This is how incendiary radical groups are formed - not because of our staunch stance behind an issue but to combat the ignorant opposition against it.

the funniest part is, they seek to use this as a means to begin impeachment proceedings - showing they have little care for the state of our economy, our other fledgling systems, our reputation abroad, or anything except themselves.

I also find it ironic that since day one the president to win by the greatest popular vote in decades has received more scrutiny by the alleged right-wing (who are truly further left than even the most progressive democrat) in six months than the obviously, probably, and factually corrupt Bush administration did in eight years. There is countless evidence against senior bush executives, yet none will initiate a trial.

In fact, Dick Cheney openly and proudly asserts ignoring the bill or rights, the Geneva convention, and breaking just about any law he came across and it is met with thunderous applause.

America really is two countries. One that aims to positively influence our world for the better and one that cares only for its diluted self-interest.

  17. zauberer, whatever planet you are on, the United States is not Obama's country - it is ours. We are not thrilled with the kinds of changes, changes that defy our constitution.

you will see much more disagreement with Obama, and even voters' remorse, because the voters did not know who or what they voted for.

they are finding out, and obama's agenda gets very low marks. That will begin to translate into low marks for the man himself.

I hope you can take it.

  18. THIS IS A GRETA IDEA.

America;s so called liberals are very intolerant of people with different views. The type of censorship proposed here - much like implementation of the "fairness doctrine" would help to prove that today's "liberal actually prefer dictatorial type approaches.

Did you know this site has already been rigged so that the posts asking for Obama to support transparency by providing his own birth certificate, health records and college records are not properly counted, even if they do not get deleted.

It is possible to review this site to find the most rquested ideas by scanning "Top Rated" posts.

According to the liars running this website the most requested item has NOT been Obama's birth certificate.

  20. From the American people. For instance, only 21% of Americans like the GM bailout. Looks like they were right. After all that money, GM still went bankrupt, but did so UNDER OBAMA'S watchful eye.

Also, the majority of Americans are not in favor of his plans for Gitmo detainees, nor are people happy about Obama's move to keep Georgia from checking to see if voters are citizens of the US.

The list is long. Start digging for yourself.

  22. luvwith, your comment that Obama received more voted than any other candidate in history is misleading. He received 52% of the popular vote which is one of the narrowest margins ever. However, he targeted his campaign toward states with high numbers of electoral votes and therefore obtained an overwhelming majority in the electoral college.

  31. It's not, however the presentation of your (the plural "your") case betrays your intentions.

    I was referring directly to:

"Post his credentialos and I am outta this place"

Which irrefutably exposes a personal agenda. So I asked a legitimate question. Is cloudscape, and others who support this cause here to talk about open government and transparency or are they here to pursue a personal agenda? The answer can be both, but acceptable social standards in this country dictate one substantiate words with actions. JBaker62 meets the standard as he or she has exhibited interest in issues of transparency and accountability beyond an obvious personal interest. You have directly provided constructive ideas for open government in the spirit of this forum, and I thank you for that.

    Our records speak for themselves.

If we want this question answered, we'll have to ask it in a manner that exhibits mutual integrity and respect. Encouraging others to spam this forum embraces neither.

  32. When I was a child, and I acted like a spoiled 5 year old and I whined and stamped my feet and DEMANDED attention because I didn’t get my way…my parents sent me to my room. And I’d holler and wail and stamp my feet until I realized that I would not be invited back to participate with the adults and have my voice heard until I changed my behavior and quit acting like an ass.

I could stamp my feet all I wanted, and nobody cared…because I was acting like a rotten little creep and no one wanted me around. When I got tired of being excluded from adult conversation I told my parents I was sorry and that I was ready to be a part of the discussion again.

We would talk and I would express my needs and they would listen. Sometimes I would get the things I’d ask for and sometimes they would explain to me why I wasn’t going to get things the way I wanted them, but they would be respectful and consider my wants.

It’s time for “birther” conservatives to be sent to their room and ignored. To be left out of the conversation by the adults until they are willing to quit making demands and screaming and stomping their feet…to be sent to their rooms until they are willing to work WITH their family members to make a pleasant, peaceful and respectful home for all of us…instead of dominating the environment with selfish, childish pettiness.

  34. Factcheck is beholden to Obugabe, as a funded spin-off of the Annenberg Foundation which he helped so generously. It is far from independent and objective.

Hawaii, AFAIK, has never even confirmed that it printed out a Certification for him. So even that totally inadequate documentation is quite possibly just a Photoshopped pastiche cover-up.

This is the Brazen Big Lie technique in operation; his whole candidacy is based on it.

  37. One fallacy I see in the above arguments is the belief that there is any difference between the Democratic and Republican parties. It is like watching professional wrestling in the 80's. They yell and scream at one another in front of the cameras, then they all get together to split up your money at the end of the night.

  40. jwelborn... I covered a lot of this on my show. The link below is to a show where, in the last part of the show, I discuss why a third party will not serve anything right now but to make certain that conservatives lose in 2010.

This country cannot wait for a third, conservative party to build up steam. If we don't win the House back in 2010, this experiment in a democratic republic may be over.

  44. Nobody in the history of this country was more successful at passing what conservatives will tell you are their key issues. He was not a failure by any stretch of the imagination if you are judging by how much of his party's agenda was achieved.

What did he do to deserve this title?

    Biggest tax cuts in history

    Biggest cuts in "social" programs

    Biggest rollbacks of environmental protections

    Most defense spending ever

Biggest rollbacks in business and development regulations

Biggest giveaways of public land for mountaintop mining and timber

    Biggest crackdown on civil liberties

Biggest cuts in higher education budgets

Privatization of Military, law enforcement and prison infrastructure

    Biggest cuts in Veteran's benefits

Two new ultra right Supreme Court picks

    And on and on...

There is nothing this man did that was a failure...if you are judging by whether one advances his party's interests. He was able to accomplish things that conservatives have been whimpering that the dirty "Libtard" congresses of Nixon, Bush I, and Reagan blocked them from doing for 40 years.

Well, the stars lined up for them. They got everything they said would "free capitalism" from the bonds of "big government" to work it's magic.

    What did we get?

Worst job creation record since Hoover

Actually LOST jobs over his entire first term

300,000 jobs for his second term

(Jimmy Carter created 10 million jobs in "worst economy in history”)

Millions more people without health insurance

Millions more collecting unemployment from the government

Millions of people’s retirement saving WIPED OUT

Homes worth half what people paid for them

Major decline of respect for US in the world

Continued terrorist attacks on US soil (Anthrax? Snipers?)

Stagnant wages in the midst of inflation in the prices of fuel, food, education and health care resulting in a NET LOSS in the standard of living of the vast majority in this country

Largest gap between rich and poor in this country since the beginning of the Great Depression

It is not George W. Bush's fault and it is not his failure. The fault for the state of this country rests firmly on the POLICIES not the PERSONALITY of GEORGE W BUSH! It is conservative, trickle down, “let business regulate itself” policies that got us where we are.

If we don't acknowledge that then we will repeat this experiment again in the next election. It is important for people to know what they are going to get when they vote for conservatives.

If you make 250,000 a year or more and you want to shut the door to prosperity behind you so you don't need to share your loot then you should vote republican.

But if you are trying to get there, and want policies that help that happen, like a good education and healthcare alternatives so you don't get trapped in a job you hate…even though you have a great idea for a business...then you need to vote for New Deal Liberalism.

New Deal Liberalism is social spending to help you succeed and government regulation to keep powerful corporate interests from rolling right over you and crushing your hopes to line their own pockets the way they did to millions of others in the last 8 years.
