Here is a novel idea - when the economy is down - LOWER SPENDING!
Mr. Obama - should we all follow your example and spend money like drunken sailors? Should we max out all our credit cards and then print our own money (for us that would lead to jail- for you it will lead to being the worst president in history)?
Should we follow your example? I say no - cut government spending by 25% for starters and then if the economy continues going down cut more.

And why don't all the corrupt politicians take a pay cut. After all, look how screwed up things are - they deserve a pay cut!
The politicians should have to take a pay cut every time the employment numbers get worse and they can get a raise every time they go up. Performance bonuses might work when all else has failed.
Sorry to badmouth drunks as they at least can sober up. Democrats like Pelosi, Reed, Frank and Obama are unlikely to re(?)gain their sanity and stop the madness. Economic views are no longer divided between right and left but sane and insane.
