Why Is This Idea Important?: For true transparency in government. Knowledge is power

HR 1207 Would make an audit of the Federal Reserve happen and be public. I think all financial records of every member personally should be public, Health Records of Potus and VPotus should be necessary as well as tax returns. Any money spent and on what should be made public by each commitee that oversees the spending. All bills signed into law should be made public including those who signed it. The Presidents Curriculum Vitae should be made public and any jobs and decisions he made should be made public. The President's long form birth cerificate should be made public and his former performance records in school and work should be made public. I have to prove mine when I apply for jobs and my 8 year old needs the long form birth certificate just to play soccer. The President promised a new age of transparency well let's have it then.

    Monrikker, He hasn't made it trasnsparently available to the public and we have an obligation to protect our Constitution.

    The TRUTH is, you don't accept this as valid. But the government DOES accept it as valid. And so do the vast majority of Americans. You claim those people are "sheeple", willing to accept any old thing. But the fact remains that Obama HAS provided his BC and it HAS been accepted by the relevant authorities.

    Perhaps you might try to take this fight to them instead of Obama? Just thinking out loud here....

    The truth is that he is unwilling to satisfy his constituents. What has he done to make you such an active supporter? Why do you think that he is acting alone? He is a frontpiece for a much more sinister group.

    Hmmmm...a "sinister group" that includes a majority of the American public; his opponents in the election, both Republican and Democrat; the conservative Supreme Court, including the Bush-appointed Chief Justice who swore him in; the Electoral College; the entire Congress, not one of who challenged his electoral certification; and the various state and federal courts that have laughed the various frivolous challenges out the door.

    And in the other corner--a couple hundred right-wing fruitbat sore losers.

    I know which group my money's on. Better luck in 2012, nutjobs.

This has been a longtime plan. Read a history book. Follow the timeline and see the genocide. If you don't want this to happen to us in the future, do something to prevent it.     HR 1207 is about transparency in government and accountability for a federally authorized private institution that has the power to create and distribute trillions of dollars without any oversight. Simple. That's why it's supported by 207+ members of the House in a *bipartisan* way.

    All of the cosigners of H.R. 1207: Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009, are House members. This bill will be killed in the senate. If it miraculously passes the senate, President Obama will not sign it, since he is owned body and soul by the very same bankers.
