There should be a salary cap on every job. And it should be the same amount of money. If a person exceeds that amount of money they should be forced to quite there job, and live of interest or go into Philanthropy to make a few more dollars. Thus you have to help other people in order to get more money. And Forcing people to quite their job will free up opportunities for other trying to make money. Money is a reflection of resources, and its a shame that people can horde any resources.

Please stay out of politics...Obama is more than we can stomach right now.
I voted that I'm not so sure, but I am sure, this idea gets a resounding NO WAY!!!
i am curious what happens if say i hit my cap and then i invent something and it sells a ton?
what happens then?
who gets the money? the government?
LOL
Let's start with these thieving teacher unions
from yahoo news,,
Hundreds of New York City public school teachers accused of offenses ranging from insubordination to sexual misconduct are being paid their full salaries to sit around all day playing Scrabble, surfing the Internet or just staring at the wall, if that's what they want to do.
Because their union contract makes it extremely difficult to fire them, the teachers have been banished by the school system to its "rubber rooms" _ off-campus office space where they wait months, even years, for their disciplinary hearings.
The 700 or so teachers can practice yoga, work on their novels, paint portraits of their colleagues _ pretty much anything but school work. They have summer vacation just like their classroom colleagues and enjoy weekends and holidays through the school year.
this is "communism lite" and disincentivises working at all or even doing a good job as it creats a labor enviornment where a job's qualification would be "be a warm bodie and at work on time". Competition for jobs increases the quality of a workforce, government controll of a workforce generates poor productivity and poorer products...or have you ever driven a Trabant?
I believe this is similar to taxes, which already exist. Perhaps you should rephrase with a policy suggestion related to income tax reform.
