just like back in the day, land should be based on what a person can grow on there land. This will make sustainable ideas and nature at the base of our decisions. Why should people in cities pay 1000 and up a month for a tiny apartment that you cant grow anything on, as well as everything that makes most building makes us sick and contributes to the destruction of our planet. At a minimum make a certain percentage of every piece of property healthy enough to grow something. And the more property one owns, the more they are required to have a larger piece of land in which to grow things.

While I can't agree that property value should be fixed to potential crop output, it would be wise for the administration to place more emphasis on localized (decentralized) food production. This is one of the underdiscussed areas of national security. Perhaps you could post another idea along those lines?
What are you growing on your land?
City people cause the most problems, tax them more!
