Health Care for All

Why Is This Idea Important?: BECAUSE WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIFE! THEY TOLD US THAT MANY MANY YEARS AGO!

We can always seem to find money when it suits someone at the top. Not to mention it is a no brainer, all the money we will save and make if we stop letting the pharm companies run us...What is in an IV antibiotic anyways?! I bet we can produce them for less than $1800.00! That is what my critical father was told it cost when he was told he couldn't have an iv, even though his body has the worst time fighting infections every time he is admitted with pnemonia! Already, over the last three years he has almost died about 3 times! He could only have pill form, which we know does not work as fast as iv's, and he got his pills sometimes 3 hours late due to lack of nurses...no one seems to care about RIGHT and WRONG anymore...I thought we were Christians...I thought we were told in the Constitution that we had the right to LIFE?!!! Maybe it is time we figure out What kind of people we want to identify as!! and frankly, It is our HORRIBLY FAULTY HEALTH CARE SYSTEM that is making ME sick, and causing Americans to not have this HOPE that you all seek!

    sunjenshine: In England where they have the health care system you want here, no one over 59 can have a heart bypass or a heart stint put in. In England by 59 they don't think it's worth it to spend the government health care system money on you because they think you're too old.

    In the system you want, the government decides which treatments they're going to pay for and which ones they're not going to pay for.

    Now, when you look at every other system that government oversees or owns or runs, the masses -- that's us -- NEVER benefit from.

    What happened 200 years ago when you got sick and died...you got buried and America continued to grow in spite of the death. Back then the government didn't get involved and we still survived. We have heath care that is far better than 200 years back and I promise it will never be perfect either. And who in the hell would want to try to endure this mess we call life any further than what God intended anyway?

    I am not a Christian and it is terrible for anyone to assume everyone is. On the 1800 dollar IV issue, I just took my cat to the vet where they administered an IV and it was included in the office visit $29.00.

Bottom line, there is money to be made, the plan is affordable if we control the high costs and fraudulent claims...say it like it is...we don't deserve any preventive treatments because the rich pharm companies who charge $18,000 dollars for a chemo treatment are too busy pursuing THEIR HAPPINESS, AND I helped a stage 4 cancer patient survive on products that cost 40bucks, it worked far better than his $18,000 chemo treatments!..they, (pharm co.) are preying on the fact that many of you just don't know any better...just keep going with the flow guys, I'm sure the one's at the top appreciate your continued support in the current medical system because each one of you, when you get sick of course, is worth about 250,000 in awesome, money-making claims to your insurance plan, it is you, especially cancer patients who are buying their happiness, the least they can do when someone gets cancer is send you a freaken thank-you card huh?! When Reagan and Suzanne Summers got cancer, they said forget America and YES they got on a plane and got healed in Germany..because they try to help you get better there, with amazing technology that has been out for years.. not just soak up as much money as they can off your insurance plan...until your body gives up and dies/CHEMO AND RADIATION IS NOT THE BEST WAY TO CURE CANCER AND THEY KNOW IT TRUST ME!
