What is prevention?

Why Is This Idea Important?: So here is a novel idea. We have experts in behavioral change, they are called cognitive behavior therapists (cbt) and their job is to change behaviors. Statistics bear out that there track record exceeds all other attempts at changing behavior. They enjoy a 60% success rate in insomnia, that means that 6 out of 10 previous sufferers will not have to take a sleeping pill. It has been shown that with a good drug free nights sleep every night our immune system will function at a higher level, we will be less likely to have diabetes, cardiovascular events and also 50% less depression. Calculate that into dollars and the cost savings are striking. Of course big pharma is selling less sleeping pills, but that is good, right! The problem with cbt is it is usually a one on one experience, expensive in its own right. Why is this idea important? I have a business plan that will be capable of training millions of people using cbt and other methods in an online program designed to change behaviors. This works, the stats are there, it just needs to be done. People trained to be healthy, what a unique idea.

The word prevention from my point of view means using whatever means available to keep people healthy so they will not be a burden to our very expensive health care system. For that we turn to our health care specialists who know how to do prevention. But Wait; medical prevention means getting an early diagnosis to that diseases are discovered early on, in the hopes that they can become curtailed and less costly. Has this worked? Yes, but it comes with an increased price tag and no real guarantee that the disease will be abolished, rather it has been medicated, leading to expensive side effects, increased drug usage, eventual degenerative diseases, more expensive diagnosis and end stage treatment. As usual we have put the cart before the horse and asked the fox to guard the henhouse. So, what else is prevention? Prevention from my point of view is about dealing with the habits and destructive life styles that so many Americans indulge in. Face it, we are a society that trains its citizens to be unhealthy. Our public has been seduced into eating the wrong foods, laziness due to being stressed and sleep deprived, a medical system that provides a drug for every system. Who needs to control their diets, when they can lower their cholesterol and eat as much as they want, get obese with permission. If permission is given how can we possibly expect people to be interested in changing beahaviors.

I have changed my lifestyle completely. I don't eat Frankenfoods, I don't drink alcohol, do drugs (not even prescription drugs), I don't smoke, I don't use chemicals on my body or in my house. There are a few exceptions, I use kitty litter for my cats and air freshener occasionally. Being diagnosed with MS saved my life. My family has seen the change in me and they adopted some of the same habits. I decided to research and by reading about alternatives, I learned why they work and how we've been led down the wrong path, much like Obama plans for us. To benefit from this advise, one needs to unlearn everything they think they know. Look around you. Everyone you know is sick with something. In my opinion, it's from toxicity and deficiency. We eat a lot but we're starving for nutrition.

We have to block the passage of CODEX Alimentarius. It will make criinals of those who grow and sell organic produce and outlaw nutritional supplements.

For the most part, prevention was one of the biggest scams perpetrated upon the people.

It sucks money like a vacuum sucks dust, and the returns are so minimal as to be laughable.

It was a way to even out income for an industry that profits from catastrophe, which can not be predicted and controlled.

Like most Americans, you have no idea what the word socialism means. Having lived in Germany, i can tell you that you're dead wrong. Socialism and freedom go together just fine. This may come as a shock to you, but socialism and capitalism go together beautifully. Furthermore, all nations are socialist to some degree.

Roads, schools, parks, police and national defense are all socialism.
