Invest in Fusion Research

Why Is This Idea Important?: Mid-east involvement, Saudi-Arabia owning us, and global warming.

For the cost of one fighter jet, the US could develop a fusion reactor that would make oil and coal obsolete. The Bussard polywell fusion reactor has great potential (no pun intended), and needs government investment.
