If a person is on government medical care in the US (Medicaid, SSDI, Veteran Medical, Obama's Health Plan) only approved treatments are covered. Big Pharma and the FDA make that decision. I have chosen an alternative route for the treatment of MS, no management drugs. I pay for nutritional therapy instead (including organic food) and I've recovered slowly but surely. I don't want anyone to be forced to pay for a system that wants to keep them sick. How would those agancies/businesses benefit by killing their cash cow? They make more from drug prescriptions and they create names of diseases and the drugs to control them. All chemical drugs have side effects. What do doctors do? They give you a drug for the side effect and the ride continues. \
Besides that, this is a ridiculus time to think that employers can afford to pay. Will they be able to tell you how to live your life so that they have lower insurance rates? Don't fix it if it ain't broke!
