Name one thing that's not on the COLB that's needed, Big Rooster. Name just one.

If you can't, you must acknowledge that the COLB would be accepted by the state department as proof of where you were born. So, let me ask you this one question. If the Federal Government accepts this as proof of where you were born, then why would you believe that the Federal Government wouldn't accept this as proof of where you were born?

The official birth certificate, then, is the COLB, the data for which was drawn from the official file, which had to include the original birth certificate, showing place of birth, parents' names, time of birth, race, and whatever the State had concluded needed to be present when a modern birth certificate is called for to prove identity.

It's not logical, according to the procedure put in place in 2001, to think the original birth certificate said anything different than the COLB would, as relates to the pieces of information transferred into the computerized record.

So I have this straight: You suspect that when in 2001 Hawaii went paperless, basing input into electronic format on the information on record for Hawaiian births after 1908, that the clerk at the computer inputting the Obama data, somehow and inexplicably, typed in "Honolulu" instead of "Kenya" for place of birth?

to blackmonrikk(K)er...Research the Constitution and how the founders wrote it. Why they put Natural Born Citizen in it. There are some historical quotes with the words Natual Born Citizen and President (not a Naturalized Citizen and President). Look it up.

The Star-Bulletin piece certainly debunks the idea that the State Dept. requires some other birth certificate. Or, that Hawaii has some other kind of birth certificate. Since 2001 they've gone electronic.

I also think it's significant that, with all their digging, no one has been come up with another birth certificate for Obama from some other country.

Yup, Of course. It has ALL been covered here many, many times. I still haven't seen any requirement to provide a birth certificate to the public.

Part of this thing is that he wasn't properly vetted and those that claim he was are hopefully going to get roasted for it.

He does have to produce the paper work when vetted to be the POTUS.

I do not work well with hypothetical's either (nothing to be gained)so i will keep those out of it as fair warning.

Well, I just haven't seen any law that requires a birth certificate. Of course that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Just that I haven't seen it cited. I grant you he certainly needs to be vetted. Do you have any idea who is supposed to do the vetting?

I do know from my years in Hawaii in the 70s and 80s that many kids were born out of hospital, so to speak. With grandmas and aunties acting helping out at home. This went on much more on the neighbor islands, though, than Oahu.

Now, understand that I'm not saying there's nothing wrong here, but it seems like there's a lot of misinformation. I'm skeptical. And, open to facts.
