Government-sponsored Private Sector Job Board Program

Why Is This Idea Important?: Hiring practices, at least in the United States, have always depended upon the concept of networking, that is to say, social and work-related "connections" that allowed for the discovery and obtainment of jobs. Today's economy and job market have revealed that this system is at best inefficient and archaic in nature, as many who find themselves jobless are in no position to take advantage of it to secure work. To put more Americans back to work and provide business and institutions with access to a rich pool of qualified and willing workers.

This would establish an Internet job board sponsored and maintained by the federal government that would collaborate with private sector companies and institutions to provide job-seekers with a more efficient and consolidated pool of work opportunities(in contrast to existing Internet job boards, which are collectively superfluous and inefficient in their listing of work opportunities).
